The North Face VaporWick Trypitch Herringbone Pant - Women's - 2006 BCS

These pants are super comfortable, lightweight and breathable. Most cargos have the huge pockets that stick out on the side of the leg, which is very unflattering for short women, but these pockets lay nice and flat. I would have preferred a lower rise, however, these come just a inch below the belly button. Some reviewers have complained about the dryer fading/shrinking the pants, but there is really no need for the dryer since these dry very fast if you hang them up after the wash.

These do not hold up in the dryer. I love The North Face products, but the quality on this pant is not so good. They faded a lot and the material is deceiving not strong. Best use is probably casual wear. I'm stuffing these in the closet. these are just not cute because they faded a lot and weakened after 1 or 2 dryer shots, I don't trust these. In face there is already a small hole after wearing them 3 times.. I do not recommend..

These are great pants. Very comfortable and look good enough for casual wear as well as hiking. They are quite a big make though so I recommend going down a size - I'm usually an 8, but I got size 6 and they are still roomy. I was also very pleased with the prompt service.

Love these pants! Flexible, light, well cut, and with lots of great pockets that are well designed (ie: don't sag out in an unattractive way). Perfect for hiking with our dog & carrying treats, doggie bags etc. without needing a backpack.

I have a 35 inch inseam and have difficulty finding technical pants that are long enough. These are the only pants I have found that fit in length after searching all the major brands for the past couple of months. They are nice and lightweight and are super comfortable -- not bulky, so they work well under my backpack hip belt. They run a bit small so go one size above.

I love these pants! They sit just below the bellybutton, so it's nice and stylish (no granny pants here) and there're lots of pockets to carry everything you'll need right with you.
The only word of warning is that these pants will shrink (high cotton content) so if the pants are snug before washing, go one size up.

I love these pants. They fit perfectly and I'm glad I got the long. I feel like The North Face pants run a little short, so the long length is more like a regular in my opinion. Used these on a backpacking trip and they looked nice and dried very easily. Definitely worth the money!
