    Run it out.

No, it's not the elevator music that's making your legs involuntarily move on your way down from the office—it's the fact that you need to get out and run, and The North Face Men's Ultra Endurance Trail Running Shoes are the perfect pair to take your running addiction from the street to the trail. With lightweight uppers and supportive TPU and suede overlays, these trail runners keep you light on your feet while offering adequate support for rugged terrain.

The North Face pulled all the stops with these shoes by integrating ESS Snake Plates for serious rock protection, Ultra Protect Cradle heel stability technology, and single-density EVA midsoles for a cushioning and responsive ride. TNF even threw Vibram soles under these shoes, ensuring solid traction on loose, wet, or rocky trails.

    Sizing Seems Strange

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs small

I ended up returning this shoe because the sizing seems like it's off by about half a size. The shoe seemed nice, but it was just too small to be comfortable. I ended up buying another pair of The North Face in my natural size that fit a lot better.

    5 stars

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

North Face trail shoes are fast becoming my favorites. Very lightweight, but still offer full protection in the sole. The rubber is decently stiff as well, so doesn't end up breaking down on the hot, dry, and rocky terrain here in UT. Fit is great out of the box. For trail shoes, I go a half size up to accommodate for foot swelling and for some room for toes to move on the downhill.

    My new downhill favorites!

Digging these for the downs! Seems like the right amount of cushion for big downhills, I loved them for Granduer west face downhill today and it's a decent long haul shoe too. I like the tread, but it's not for super slimy mud, I'll stick to Mudclaw 300 for the rainy days.
