    Great all around shoe

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 9.5

I've had two pairs of this shoe now and loved both. I've ran hundreds of miles on both roads and trails in all four seasons. The shoes have held up fantastically. Great grip, stay relatively dry, and very comfortable. My only complaint is that the cushioning seems to compress rather quickly compared to other shoes I've owned. That being said I love them enough that I am going to order a third pair once my current pair wears out. I usually wear a 9-10 depending on the brand I've found that a 9.5 is perfect for me with this model

    Muy liviana muy justo

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: 9

Hasta ahora todo bien. Es muy liviana pero el talle es muy justo a lo ancho, si la persona tiene un pie más ancho de lo normal sería muy incómodo usarla. Espero que no se rompa en la punta porque lo veo que una goma muy frágil.

    Great for the trail.

I purchased these shortly after some TNF Ultra Cardiacs. The overall quality of the shoe and Vibram sole make the shoe a go to for any trail I've hit so far. Be it mud, sand, snow, or even ice this last winter on my Moab trip. I would highly recommend these to anyone who is willing to give up a Gore-Tex moisture barrier. They've been a great partner both in the northern Wasatch range and southern deserts of Utah. As with most TNF gear be careful with your sizing. They tend to run small in width, but other than that. They've seen it all.

    Great for the trail.

    My Go To shoe

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

This is my first pair of TNF shoes and I'm very happy with them. I'm usually a diehard Brooks fan, especially their Cascadia shoe but I decided to try to mix it up this year and I'm happy with the decision to add another favorite shoe to the "fleet". I went with the same size shoe as my Cascadia and they fit great and are lighter! The Vibram outer sole provides traction on dry or wet trails. This shoe is for neutral pronators so it might not be for everyone...TNF offers a 1 year warranty against defects on the shoe but through 10 trail runs- I feel like these will hold up just fine. My feet are happy :)

    Disappointed

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: 13

After previously buying, and being extremely happy with, a similar pair of North Face sneakers at a discount chain, I bought these sneakers for my son (that I will add is disabled and can be tough on shoes.)I was disappointed in the quality of what I received. After one wear, the toe rubber started to lift from the sneaker and I had to superglue it back on. I would have returned the sneakers but, he needed them for school.
The fit is very narrow, so people with normal to wide feet may need to size up. The sole of the shoe is solid and the materials used were still better than other brands. Overall, they are okay.

    small for size

    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: 11

My typical swell size (in North Face trail runners) is 11; however, when I got the ultra cardiac in 11 there were nearly an entire size too small. I spoke with a north face employee who also agreed that these shoes are exceedingly small. So, just a word of warning, size up 1/2 a size from your "swell size". Furthermore they are stiffer than I think necessary. The tread is terrific on slippery mud. I just love TNF trail runners. Did two ultras and an one road marathon in Single Track Hayasa and couldn't be more place. I got the ultra cardiac for something with more aggressive tread and a thicker sole to aid against rock strike.

Great Shoe, Needs a Footbed Upgrade

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 9.5

The North Face Ultra Cardian Trail Runner is a great shoe for trail running in Utah. I've used it for 100's of miles this summer and it is barely wearing down. The only problem that I have with it is the footbed. I would highly recommend replacing it with a custom fit footbed.
