  • Heel Cradle and lateral heel posts in the midsole, both feature firmer EVA to offer support, stability, and proper foot positioning
  • Compression-molded EVA midsole absorbs shocks and offers exceptional cushioning
  • ESS Snake Plate under the forefoot and a TPU toe cap add protection on rough trails
  • Lightweight UltraATAC sole offers excellent traction on both wet and dry surfaces, and is hard-wearing for years of abuse

Great Winter Shoe

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I run year round so I was looking for a cushioned, warm trail shoe. This fits the bill. The GoreTex keeps the wind off your toes and a quick trip off trail through some snow proved that they can handle basic winter conditions. I've put about 30 miles on these shoes so far and have been very happy with them.
