Here's what others have to say...

Does this stuff into a pocket?

Dan Sherry,

Yes, the left hand pocket has a double sided zipper so you can stuff into the pocket and zip away to stow the jacket.

Once I found the right size, I love it!

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit:Runs small

I have another TNF lightweight running jacket in their "better than naked" line and I like everything about that jacket except that I wish it were longer length. This Torpedo jacket fulfills that wish and is more attractive in design. I ordered the Dayglo yellow color for good visibility in low light. The subtle pattern on the shoulders and arms is cool-looking, and the two pockets in the back will be very handy; I'll be able to reach back easily and grab a tissue or a gel while running or hiking. Be aware the fabric is not stretchy at all, and the cut is pretty trim-fitting. I am 5' 5" and about 133lb with a full bust. Often I can wear a size M, and this jacket was the right length but the size M was too snug across the bust and shoulders when zipped. I exchanged it for size L, which is perfect. I even like the fact that the sleeves are a little long in that size as it will allow me to pull them over my hands if it's a little chilly and I don't have gloves on. I know it is going to be my new favorite in the spring.

I always order an extra small for my jackets from Back country, but I could not zip this jacket past my chest. I am very surprised because my other jackets fit perfect. I will return this jacket and order another size. The jacket was what I was looking for, I love this jacket.
