The North Face Long-Sleeve Crew is a beautifully simple climbing shirt. Made from 100% cotton, the Crew is soft and light as only cotton can be. Side vents at the hem give ventilation for when things heat up on a pitch. The Crew is garment washed before it leaves the factory so its color won't fade.
Bottom Line: Technical cotton comfort from The North Face Crew.
Really like the fit and comfort from these shirts. Nice casual style, very well made and that's not cut long in the torso allowing it to be worn comfortably without tucking it in.
I like it so well, ordered 2 others in different colors.
I added this shirt to my order to get free shipping. I would have been better off leaving it off my order. I returned it.
I'm 6'2" and ordered a XL. The sleeves were borderline too short but the torso was definitely too short. The material was nice and overall quality is what I would expect from TNF. However, if you are a tall person, do not order this shirt.

My personal experience with this shirt was disappointing at best. The shirt is not that comfortable. The stitch work around the shoulders rubs the skin in a irritating manner. The sizes run small and the fit is tight with little give. I don't mind tight shirts as long as the material is a pleasant feel to the skin, which is not the case with this shirt. Arm lengths are a bit long.
I Have to agree with the other posts, I am 6'3 185 and the XL did fit well at all, shirt is warm. But dont plan on wearing this shirt out in public. As a light layer it is ok.
I am 6'2'' below 200 lbs. the shirt is great, I got Large, arms are just long enough. In a perfect world, the arm length of XL would come with chest for Large. Or you just need to eat more for the winter. But the quality is great. Good shirt.
I love everything about this shirt. The cotton is thick, soft, and comfortable, and the sizing is perfect. The Prussian Blue is a particularly striking color, and this should be my favorite shirt for years to come.
Very nice fabric and feel. But, I can usually wear an XL without having it tight at my hips. This shirt was too tapered toward the bottom to feel comfortable.
Skip this shirt if you need a long-sleeve shirt that has sleeves that are as long as many shirts out there (even though, the size is marked "TG"), and don't want a baggy fit.
Bought this shirt in size medium. Felt true to size. Mine was the taupe green color, which looks nice. Really nothing outstanding about it, it's comfortable to knock around in but not worth full price. Like somebody else, I got it cheap with a promotional discount so, for that price it's nice.
I bought this shirt for $4.95 because of a discount, but if you are paying full price this is not worth it. The shirt is badly done, I guess it cost this much only because of the branding. I have bought other clothing mainly outerwear from northface that was very good quality. But this shirt did not reach its usual standards.
I normally take a medium tshirt - but often get a large for long sleeve tshirts due to my sleeve length. I bought 2 of these in large during a sale last month. Unfortunately, the sleeves are still too short. Can't give much more of a review since shirts that come halfway up my forearm annoy me.
I initially loved this shirt, and I still like it a lot. Fit is true to size with a good length in the sleeve. My only issue is that the seam is beginning to split in one of the armpits. Probably just an individual occurrence, but something to consider.
A nice thick cotton tee shirt well suited for our pacific northwest climate. The tapered fit is comfortable because there is no excessive material to tuck in and no bunching. Let's see how they hold up after a few washings. So far, so good.
Nice heavy-weight cotton, great for cool spring or fall days. Great fit, sized just about right and the sleeves are plenty long for my long arms. I just wish I could order more, but it looks like they are discontinuing these.
I've worn this shirt climbing 14ers in Colorado and mountain biking in a canyon in Texas. It is a comfortable, well-fitting shirt as a single or base-layer. Sizing is true.
I love the feel of this shirt during any activity, it is cotton, so it does not dry fast, but it is extremely comfortable and the cut/sizing is great for tall thin people.
This is a great shirt bought for my husband for Christmas. He like everything about it except the logo on the face of the shirt. If not for that it would be perfect.
Really like the fit and comfort from these shirts. Nice casual style, very well made and that's not cut long in the torso allowing it to be worn comfortably more...
