Fall bouldering can be a bit chilly—pull on The North Face TKA 200 Kimber Full-Zip Sweatshirt for your warm-up routes. Underarm gussets mean the Kimber won’t feel restrictive as you reach for that crimper, and the soft, midweight fleece breathes easily when you’re muscles are warmed up but you’re not quite ready to shed layers yet. The North Face made this fleece out of 100% recycled polyester, so you can feel eco-good.
Works with zip-in-compatible The North Face shells
Bottom Line: Fun in the fall. And winter. And spring.
I wasn't too impressed with this fleece for a couple of reasons. I didn't like the feel of the fleece, or the fit. It flared out much to widely at the hips (a trend I am noticing with other TNF items too). I'm a pretty hippy girl, and it was just too wide and unflattering, even at the XS size. I would recommend the Khumbu over this one.
Very happy with both the jacket itself and Backcountry's customer service! It is a perfect mid-weight fleece, fitted but not tight, keeps the chill off but not heavy feeling. After reading the comments I was a bit scared to order my normal size medium - BC shipped me both the M and the L and I was able to return one no charge. It was awesome to have both to try on at the same time. I did end up going with the M (I'm 5'6" and 135) - if I was wearing heavier layers under I might need the L but for spring and fall wear the M is just right. So anyway, a great jacket and a great ordering experience - I highly recommend!

I wore my sweatshirt as soon as I opened it Xmas morning. It was a perfect layering piece for a very! cold, windy day at the beach. I always depend on North Face for it's quality and performance.
Completely satisfied with my order. I love the color (I got a white one) and the fit was true to size (I'm rather petite and the XS was perfectly snug, comfy, and NOT restricting). It's an ideal jacket for Texas's random chilly days during these Spring months and thin enough to wear as a layer underneath a puffer jacket to keep me warm without being bulky. I highly recommend this!!
I already have one of these in purple and was stoked to see it on the site when I bought this fleece a few weeks ago. It is a thin fleece and I especially like the way it is shaped, its not boxy like some North Face fleeces can be. When it gets colder I will layer this under my winter jacket and also throw a scarf on and I am good to go!!
Got this for my GF and she loves it! Keeps her warm on cold days and is long enough to cover her back when she bends over, which is good b/c she's pretty tall.
5'8" - 110 lbs, pretty thin, and the M fits her well. So probably a little tight for people who aren't thin.
I noticed everyone saying this jacket runs small. I am 5'2 and 115 lbs and normally wear XS but don't want to get a jacket that doesn't zip shut. I like my fleeces to be worn over a t-shirt and snug. does anyone have any suggestions on what size to buy?
I would recommend the xs if you dont want a lot of layering. I am 5'2" and 105 lbs and it fits perfectly over tshirts and thin long sleeves. Its fitted towards a more petite frame.

I love my new North Face fleece! I have two others with a hood but needed something without the hood to use as a liner in my North Face jacket. As always, my North Face never disappoints in the cold temperatures, wind or rain and it's perfect to wear on not-so-cold days by itself. I also love the zip pockets.
I would recommend it to anyone who likes to have a multi-use jacket around! The only reason I give it 4 stars is because it lacks thumb holes. Granted, I know the liners don't come with thumb holes but I wish they made one that did. I prefer that than wearing gloves.
Oh, and if it helps, I have a 36.5" bust, 30" waist and the medium fits perfect. I'm also about 5'4" and the sleeves stop at about my thumb knuckle which is the length I like it. If you like your North Face more loose than fitted you probably want to order a size up.
Every other NorthFace fleece that I have is a size small, sooo I order this in a small and it was a little too tight. The chest and body fit ok but the arms were very skinny and tight, especially at the wrists.
Had to buy it because of price but was limited to only an XS and was worried but it fit perfectly! If you're looking for a fitted fleece, this is a great light-weight one good for layering or a light spring fleece. I'm 5'4", 115 lbs. I wore it under my ski-jacket to keep warm and it did it's job!
Write your question here...Last year I bought a North Face Jacket and the style number is AQ2S. It is really light weight fleece and I love it so much I want it in every color. I don't remember the style name though. Any help?
Bought this jacket in the Pink XS because it was on sale and I absolutely love it. I'm 5'4" approximately 115 pounds and the XS is a perfect fit over a tank and another long sleeve shirt. I can wear it alone or layered. It is definitely a fitted size though, if you prefer loose or less fitted, go 1 size up.
I received this ful-zip sweatshirt today in the mail. It came rather quickly and fit perfect but I had to return it because I wasn't happy with the color. It's more like a charcoal gray/black rather than a true black. I wish someone would have commented on that before I purchased it.
This is a perfect everyday fleece. I've been wearing it a lot with just tees or turtlenecks underneath it. I ordered my normal size and found it to fit just fine. The style is a more fitted fleece though so I don't think I could wear several layers underneath it. But for tees it is perfect! Speedy delivery too even though I chose the free slower option.
I ordered the Bordeaux Red and love it. It looked more magenta-ish on my computer screen, but is really a sort of maroon (which is what I was hoping). I am 5'6" and weigh about 140 lbs and ordered the small because I like things to be fitted. It fits perfectly with a tee underneath. If you are my size and want to wear a sweatshirt or something bulkier underneath you will definitely need to go up to a medium. Also, this zips into a shell I bought recently, I think it will fit into most shells. Backcountry rocks and the fleece arrived really quickly even though I chose the free, slow shipping and there was a horrible snow storm in my area! Thanks backcountry!
I received this as a Christmas gift and love it! This is a nice lightweight but warm fleece. It's nice to wear by itself or under a winter coat on chilly days for added warmth. After you generate the body heat it does an awesome job at keeping it inside. It does run a little small compared to some of the other North Face products. I received a medium and it fits nicely but I would also be able to go to the next size up and have it a little looser.
I bought this for my teenage daughter in black. She absolutely loves it and wears it almost daily to keep her warm from the cold Michigan chill.
I do want to warn a bit on size. I had to return the Women's Med that I originally ordered and get her a Large. She is only about 145lbs and 6' tall so she is fairly thin and it was still a little tight on her. The large fits her fine but if you are normally a Women's large then I would go with the next size up.
I will say that it was a breeze to return the item and backcountry got the new one to us right away.
love the TKA 200 Kimber North face zipped sweatshirt. Quality is great. Backcountry has been great...turnover quick, esp when we had to return for larger size...arrived just in time for Christmas!
It was a gift for my daughter. She is a clinical coordinator in a doctor's office that is very cold. She has to wear scrubs and this fit in with her uniform since it was white. She wears it every day and loves it. Great quality and great service. Thanks.
