I think this jacket will be very warm, material is soft and very thick. After reading the reviews, I purchased a medium but I find it to be very snug. Very fitted in the arms, will only be able to wear a cotton tee under it. TNF products seems to run a bit smaller each year. Wish I could exchange it for a large which would be perfect but this item has been discontinued and the sizes have been sold out. However, the jacket is very nice so I am keeping it. However, the TNF black is really charcoal grey which is frustrating. If I wanted grey, I would order it. I wish NorthFace carried a true black instead of this washed-out grey. I am giving it only three stars because of the color and fit.
Love it

It's often hard for me to find clothes I don't swim in since I weigh 92 pounds...and this is form-fitting and perfect. Beautiful color.
Wish they had petite sizes!

This is a great warm jacket, and I really like that it is fitted and comes in XS, both of which aren't always available. BUT because I'm small and also (not surprisingly!) short, the torso and sleeves are too long. I'm keeping the jacket because it's comfortable and warm, but it would look nicer if it were just a little shorter!

I love this jacket. It is nice looking, not real fitted so goes according to my normal size, length is good and very warm and soft. I highly recommend this to anyone unless you want a real snug fitted fleece.
too fitted

This jacket feels like it would be very warm, but it's extremely fittted through the arms. It would be difficult to wear even a long sleeve T or shirt under this jacket. I wanted something with a little more room so I am returning it.
Fits perfect

I got my jacket 3 weeks ago, and I love it so much I've been wearing it almost every day. I bought it in size S thinking that if might be too small because I have large boobs (I wear 34DD). But to my surprise it fits perfectly fine, its fitted without being too tight. The sleeves are fitted which means I can only wear it with one layer under. This is actually good because this beautiful jacket will keep you warm with just 2 layers.
Enjoy!
Great Jacket! VERY WARM! love it more than the TKA100

Great Jacket! VERY WARM! love it more than the TKA100
This TKA 200 is thicker and warmer and is very flattering. Go with your true size on this one. Some NF items vary in size but this item is pretty true to size!..
Great for the price! highly recommend it! Wish it had a hood though..
great fit

I got this for my daughter for Christmas. She loves the fit (sleek and fitted) and wears it everywhere. It looks very cute on her and she says it is quite warm. The fit is contoured and tight.
NICE! VERY NICE!

Yes, very fitting. There are a lot of nice little features; ie: inside pocket for your ipod, the top stitch pattern which is flattering.
Overall, nice piece. Only issue I have is the fit is a little tight around the bust line...which visually is enhanced with the stitching, but still looks great!
Awesome!

I bought a few TNF items for myself over the holidays and this is my favorite! It has a close fit, the sleeves are long and is extremely warm. I am 5'7" and am an 8/10 size. A Medium is just right but barely in the hips. I am looking for other colors to buy of this style to purchase.
Perfect!

I am 5'8, 125 pounds and I got the small. I tend to be a medium in jackets and shirts, and my size small north face rain jacket/windbreaker is a little small, but this fits perfectly! I don't plan on wearing it with more than a long-sleeve t-shirt underneath, so if you plan on wearing thicker sweaters underneath I'd go bigger. The sleeves are long enough and it's SUPER warm even though it's relatively thin.
