Athletes like softness too.

The North Face Men's TKA 100 Microvelour Glacier 1/4-Zip Top regulates your body temperature on chilly trail runs and bluebird days at the ski resort. Its TKA 100 fleece is so soft that you might want to wear it after you're done playing too. A quarter-zip front helps you ventilate when you start working up a sweat.

Here's what others have to say...

More than one

  • Familiarity:I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit:True to size

My husband loves this fleece and uses it for everything from hiking, skiing to everyday wear with Jeans. I try and add a new color to his collection once or twice a year and even the oldest fleece still looks great after a few years of wear and washing.

Great lightweight fleece

This is a great lightweight fleece when you just need a little something extra. It is nice and soft and feels good next to skin. It is a no frills pullover so there is not much you need to say about it. No pockets just the center zip so it saves a little on weight. It is still fleece so it will have a bulkyness when packed. Not a bad price compared to a lot of other fleeces on the market these days.

Good Value, even better when on Sale

    • Familiarity:I've used it several times
    • Fit:True to size

Right up to snuff with the quality I expect for North Face Gear.

    classic layer

    • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit:True to size

      Weight: 155 lbs
      Size Purchased: medium

This is a good layer to have in the quiver. Warm layer for skiing or around town.

I purchased one about ten years ago that still works great. This new version has softer fleece, roomier fit around the waist, the chest logo got bigger, and the tka 100 is not stitched on the cuff.

    • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit:Runs small

This fleece is very soft, a good all around weight and has just enough features to be versatile BUT you will be finding lint from this thing for days on everything it's made contact with. 2 stars for being soft and warm but also feeling like it will disintegrate within a month. I'm 5'11, 185 lbs, normally a medium and the large fit me better than the medium in the shoulders but is a little too long in the sleeves. The length of the sleeves worked well for climbing but since there's no way to fasten them they annoyingly hang up to your knuckles. The fabric is stretchy but feels like it catches on things like seatbelts and again, leaves lint everywhere. If I were you I'd save your pesos and keep looking, hombre.

    Very Comfy and Versatile

I used this fleece for 100 days of snowboarding as well as general use around SLC. It works as a great mid-layer for all but the warm spring days and is wind resistant enough to wear around town on a cold day.

    Very Comfortable

I bought this to have something to extend the wardrobe. It has become the one that I always grab first. I love the fit and the quality of the workmanship.

I hope to add another color in the future.
