The North Face Women's TKA 100 Glacier 1/4 Zip Pullover is a soft microfleece pullover perfect for layering or just bumming around on a crisp fall day. The North Face's TKA microfleece is extremely lightweight. It resists pilling and fading, and keeps its shape so it will keep you comfortable for years to come. The TKA 100 is quick-drying and has a relaxed fit so you can really kick back or kick it up a notch.
Bottom Line: Keep on top of your game with the help of The North Face TKA 100 Glacier 1/4 Zip Pullover.
I love TKA 100. I have it in 1/4 zip which runs tight and hoodie. I love the wide range of colors the North Face offers on this top, the quality and warmth. It wichs moisture so well and makes it a pleasant top for winter activities. I also wear it by itself during fall and spring for cardio walk.
Hi Can anyone tell me the exact length of this top from the neckline down (not top of turtle but neck seam) in a medium? Also the exact arm length from seam under arm to wrist end. Thank you!

I am 5'7" also and totally agree with the fleece being a few inches longer!!!lol other than that it is a great buy, and would recommend it to everyone!! I have the same problem with other NorthFace clothing as I find that most of their coats, etc are made for shorter people....being a bit taller it is always nice to have things just a tad longer!!!
I have this in black, and I wear it all the time in winter as a base layer. It is form fitting, but not too tight. It is also super soft! I am 5'5" and about 112, and I wear a small and it fits perfectly, even with my longer arms. It is also very light weight, and it is great for backpacking during the early spring.
Lightweight, warm and cozy. Can't go wrong with North Face - this is my 'go-to' fleece for cold fall nights and under layers when I'm snowboarding! Fits perfectly and true to size.
I typically wear size 10-12, depending on make. I got the TKA 100 in large based on other reviews. Above the waist fits great, below is quite snug for this 5'5", 155lb. gal. I would wear this over a tank or jogbra for skiing as there's not much more room for anything much thicker. Otherwise, warm, comfortable and figure-flattering for those with a figure!
Glad I bought it. Used it in low 20's w/just a base layer and it was fantastic. Take note that if you are a medium---order a large!!! This item does run a size smaller...
This fleece is compact and makes for a great winter baselayer or lightweight fleece outer layer on those cool summer evenings. It is somewhat fitted, so if you are planning on using it more as as an outer layer, you may need to size up. I'm 5 7 and 140lbs with an athletic build, and the Medium gives me a perfect fit when I've got a t-shirt underneath. I am impressed with the quality of the TKA100 fleece, it looks as though it will resist pilling more than the 'technopile' brand fleece equivalent. A worthwhile investment which I am sure will see plenty of use.
If it's possible to be addicted to a fleece, I am! I have three of these in different colors & my hubby is also up to three of the men's version. They are light enough to layer with or wear on their own and the best part is that they don't pill up like cheap fleece will. It's worth it to pay a little more for the quality - my oldest one still looks great, almost new! I do wish they were just a bit longer but I am fairly tall.
Very warm, perfect for layering. I got a medium and I do wish the sleeves were a little longer (I'm 5'10" 135lbs) but the only thing I own from TNF that the sleeves are actually long enough is the APEX soft shell. I read some reviews about it being short in length but I think it's a perfect length.
I bought 9 of these as christmas gifts. When everyone opened they all laughed like I had no imagination. 2 weeks later everyone came back with "best gift i received this year" Reviews were: comfortable, warm, washes great, looks casual yet not grungy, and I wear it once a week.
This is my third fleece of this kind. They are very warm and very soft. The only peeve I have is that it is quite short. I still love mine though. I wear them everywhere, even to bed.
Two questions... The first is, is the logo on the black one black or white. On the North Face website it's white but on others its black. Also, I've read that it's a snug fit. I have the Fuji Peak Full zip in a medium and I wore a long john shirt and a polo under it and still had some room. Should I order a medium in this?
I love the way this fleece feels on , the only thing though it was shorter then I wanted ! So I would say always order a size bigger then u normaly do !
My size and fit are just like the review below ("reb..."). It is an athletic cut, so keep that in mind - especially if you are between sizes in the size chart (order a size up).
I LOVE the lightweight microfleece. It doesn't weigh me down or feel bulky when I'm layering. I've worn my two TKAs over and over again this past month (I want to live in them) and they are holding up well in the wash - they still look new. Looks great for everyday wear, and I even get to wear them to work when I don't have a meeting!
The wife loves her TNF fleece. She wears it out, on the trail, working out, and around the house. The wind can cut through it, but a light shell fixes it right up. It's retained its shape and doesn't show any signs of wear after dozens of washes. The wife loves it because she has a long torso and this fits her great. One caveat: she has the white, and other colors can bleed onto it quite easy, so be careful. Overall, a great layering piece.
This fleece is awesome! It is a great fit and very flattering for a woman, no boxy fleece look! I layered this with TNF long-underwear coolmax top underneath and was toasty warm--down to the low 20s without a jacket! I bought the burnt red color and then after having it for three days, got online and ordered another! Well worth the money and another great product by TNF!
It definitely runs a bit small/tight. I am 5'3", 125 lbs, and a medium fit perfectly, with just a little bit of breathing room. The feel is extremely soft. It will work great as a layer for outdoor wear or even by itself with a tank underneath. I now wish I had bought more than one in different colors when they were on sale. Great product!
I bought this fleece in black a year ago for a trip to San Francisco in early December. I ended up wearing it nearly every day over my fitted t-shirts while I was out there. It was the perfect light, layering piece. I wouldn't necessarily consider this a jacket. If you are looking for more of a fleece jacket, go with the Denali. One year later, I am still getting a ton of use out of this fleece. It holds up so much better than the cheap-o fleeces from Old Navy. The black Old Navy fleece I bought at the same time is already pilling and ratty looking- headed for the garbage. But my NF Glacier fleece looks like new, after much more wear! I'm already looking for new colors to add to my wardrobe. Also going to buy one for my brother's bday.
One of the most versatile fleeces, I think. It's the perfect weight and can be used for layering or as a stand-alone. This one has a little smaller cut than some of the other NF fleeces, so keep that in mind when picking your size. I ordered the same size I normally wear in NF stuff, and it's a little snugger than some of the other jackets I have, but the tighter fit holds in the heat better and works well for layering/running.
I purchased a couple of these as light packing alternatives to bulky sweatshirts. They took up hardly any space in the suitcase and arrived virtually unwrinkled. I wore them with a pair of starched jeans and pulled off a nice, casual look. I ordered the Large and had a comfortable, non-clingy fit that was not sloppy looking.
Bought this awhile back - have other TNF items in size S but had a feeling that I needed a M in this. Fits great, close to the body but not skin tight, only problem - it's slightly short. I'm 5'6" with relatively proportional torso:legs - if you are able to wear a thin layer underneath (I wear a close-fitting tank of some sort), it won't be a huge problem.Definitely size up if you prefer something looser/longer.
Wear this fleece over a Cold Gear baselayer, add a shell, and you're ready for any weather conditions. I use mine every time I go snowboarding because it's thin, not too bulky, yet nice and warm. Great price, too!
I think that is each manufacturers attempt to corner the market in their own little way. I can vouch for the sizing charts on each product. They're usually fairly painless and seem to be right on.....usually.Hope that helps.
I got this on sale a few weeks ago and wow! I would've paid full price if I knew what I was missing out on. Its been perfect for spring as its warm in the mornings but breathable once it gets warmer and really lightweight to stuff in a backpack if it gets too hot. I usually wear it with a t shirt underneath and it can be a little chilly at night.I'm 5'7" with an athletic build and pretty "busty" and I got a large. I'm really impressed with the fit. I often find THF stuff to be kind of tight in the armpits and short but this comes about halfway over my belt and doesn't feel restrictive in the arms. It stretches out a little between washes but I also wear it everyday! Oh it also repels water and oder really well. I have gotten all hot and sweaty in it a few times and it never gets very stinky and I stay relativity dry in it. I can't wait to wear this skiing and kayaking and climbing and...yeah I love this thing.
Awesome fleece! used it in canada on a fall camping trip and it rained and was quite cold all three days, and this pullover kept me nice and warm. It even did a pretty good job keeping me dry! Very stylish, goes with anything.

after reading all of the reviews and sizing issues, i nervously ordered a S - and it fits great for this 5'6, 140-lb girl. while it is a bit short on the torso, if it were any bigger i think it would really look like a sack.
I ordered this to be fitted, but not constricting, I am normally a small and I ordered a medium - it is very snug - uncomfortably so and is not as long as I would like for wearing with low rise jeans and such. I might order the size up.
Luckily I tried this product on in a store and figured out that it runs quite small, so when I ordered it, I got the correct size. Other than that, it's a great fleece.
I just can't decide what size to get! That's always my problem. I want this fleece to be fitting, and not loose, but not constricting either. My measurements are: bust=33in. waist= 27in. and hips=35in. So I really can't figure it out. Some say it fits tight but others say too loose! What size should I get??
Depends on your build. I'm 5'9-1/2", (160 lbs) with long torso, wide shoulders and long arms, so I ordered XXL (up one size). Street clothes I wear XL. This XXL fits perfect---good length, "huggy" but not constrictive. No matter what the mfg. says, I find after laundry there's always some shrinkage, so wash in cold water and "line dry." The material of this fleece is totally WOW!
North Face YKA 100 Glacier Fleece was a good purchase (might run smaller than other items) but most of all had great customer service from Backcountry.
I usually wear M in North Face gear, but ordered a L in this based on other reviews. It was probably the right size for me, as otherwise the chest/sleeves would have been too small. But overall I didn't care for the fit and decided to return it. It seemed warm enough and pretty cozy, but I was hoping to use it as a layering piece and the extra fabric around the waist made it feel bulky under fitted jackets or vests (it flares out at the bottom around your hips). The roomy waist/hip also gives it a boxy look. Just not what I was looking for fit-wise in a thin layering fleece.
this is the 2nd one I have purchased. I always buy 1 size larger than I am. It is true they are a bit short but since I am only 5"4 1/2 the length is great. It washes up very nicely also.
My boyfriend bought one and I kept stealing it so he got me one for my birthday. Everyone says if runs small in the women's sizes, I'm a medium in women's and he bought me a men's small, it fits amazingly and is surprisingly flattering despite being a men's!
I typically wear a medium but went with a large based on the other reviews and I'm glad I did. It is a slight bit big but it would probably be too short if I got a medium. I wear it all the time, riding my bike, golf, disk golf, around the house, where ever... Its perfect as an under layer when it is really cold and great to wear by its self when it is in the 50's for light activity occasions.
It is a very popular fleece, as with all North Face items. My friends mom even has this fleece.
Great fleece! Very soft and light yet warm. Like everyone else has been saying get a size larger than you normally would. Im 5'4'' and weigh around 120lbs and usually wear a small in everything however I dont like things to fit real tight and so I got a medium and it fits perfectly!
I love this pullover and had to buy a second one. I bought one last year and found myself wearing it as a second layer all Fall and Spring. During the Winter it can be used as one of several layers and during the Summer it's fantastic for that slight chill at night. For traveling it's perfect; it's light to pack, easy to layer and great for hiking or walking casually around the city. It's comfortable and true to size. It also looks great. I definitely recommend it.
I received this as a gift from my husband because I loved how comfy his North Face 1/4 zip fleeces looked. I was a little disappointed when I realized how fitted they always make girls things, but all that went away after wearing it once. I prefer to wear a cami/tank top under it that sticks out of the bottom a little bit so never feels short in length. And the heather grey is darker and much prettier in person then pictured. I could wear this every day - Love it!
I love it. If I could rationalize spending the money I would have one in every color. I have two right now and live in them on the weekend. I live in Georgia so they are perfect for GA winter weather.
The item I ordered ended up being to small. The return page that they said to print only showed at the top it was a return page, and the rest was blank. I would like different size. I would love some help on this. Maybe you could possibly send me a return form. Please give me any help possible. The item was $60.00, and I don't want to loose out on this.
The only thing positive about this item is the fit. The fabric is thin and flimsy and hardly provides any warmth. It's a POOR value for the money. I would expect to pay less than half the amount for the quality.
I love this fleece. The fit is awesome, nice flattering curve near waist and not too tight anywhere. Really comfy and washes well over and over again. Highly recommended !
The product is great, but do not find size XXL in this season's offering. Why would North Face not offer it, when it is obvious that tall people, with long arms and broad shoulders need to move up one or two sizes to get the fit desired. Where are the XXL sizes??
I love this fleece! I'm a pretty style-conscious girl and this is the only "sweatshirt" that I would ever wear! The fit is flattering and the colors are great and it washes up perfectly! Love, Love, Love it!
This fleece is wonderful. Just as you want it: 1/2 Zip, comfortable and not too tight, soft but sturdy material, just what i want to put on a cold winter evening under my jacket. I am 5'6, 36" 28" 36" and the small is perfect, if not a little loose in the waist. NF runs just a tad large, so order your size and expect a little room to wiggle.
This fleece is exactly what I thought it would be - soft, light weight, warm, and perfect for layering. Bonus: it's stylin'. I read about 30 of these reviews before buying it, and decided to trust everyone and order a size up. That was good advice. I'm always a small, but the medium leaves more room for layering on frigid ski days but it still works with just a tank top.
This fleece is the softest thing ever! I was really impressed by the fit-it was not bulky, but nicely tailored. I will def buy more North Face products!
I bought three of these shirts and they fit my sister and me perfectly. These were soft and comfortable and it kept us warm on the slopes! To make the most of it we had to put on a coat before heading out (obviously), and for us it was used as layering piece.
This is my third purchase for the North Face TKA 100. I love them and have worn them all winter so far. It is a great alternative to a sweater or sweatshirt. The only con would be there really is no room to wear a top underneath unless it is a form fitting short sleeve t-shirt. Otherwise this is one of the best purchases I have made. They are soft, warm, lightweight and not bulky at all. Nicely fitted for a womens shape.
I absolutely LOVE this fleece! I bought the pink lemonade in a large and it fits perfect. It's loose enough to wear a tight shirt underneath as well. I usually where mediums in North Face but I got this in a large so I could layer and it works great. Its a very soft, warm fleece that you can wear for all different kinds of activities. The first time I wore it I layered it over a fitted sweat wicking shirt and hiked a 14,000 ft mountain. I stayed dry and warm. And other times I just wear it casually with jeans. Im tempted to buy more in different colors! This fleece is a great buy that you will get a lot of wear out of.
I agree that you should order a size up than you normally wear but this shirt is so very warm and comfortable I wear it all the time! I even had to run outside one night to my car and didn't put a jacket on but I didn't need one. It really keeps you warm and although it is still lightweight enough to wear you don't overheat. I love it and want to buy more in different colors.
I found this product to run a bit small. I usally order medium sized tops because they are roomy. I ordered this product in a medium also and the size would have been ok if I were to wear this by itself, but layering under was not really possible and ended up looking bulky because the fleece was too tight. For layering purposes, I would order a size up.
It is a great fit and so warm.I wear it over a t shirt and it is so comfy. I have the black fleece pants and wear it around the house on cooler days. It is great with jeans too. A heavenly purchase! I will buy more in the future.
I just bought this TNF fleece this morning in ALBA green. I will indeed use it to layer under my ski jacket for this season. I will agree from previous experience that this fleece will hold up to the wear and tear that I will give it. I only wish I lived in the USA...the prices are sooo much better!!!!
My wife purchased one for me and she wore it for a few months. Then we decided to purchase one for her and loved it. Bought another one. Now she loves to have one for outdoors and going out. Would hightly recommend for anyone who is in the outdoors.
I have 3 of these and get compliments on it all the time. It is lightweight enough to wear in the house and still provides warmth when outside. It is perfect to wear to the gym in the winter with a tank underneath. Grab the pants too and I can scoot around all day without going home after the gym. I have had one set for 2 years and it still looks great. I still get compliments on it all the time cuz the fit is perfect.
This pullover is perfect for chilly days, and is stylish. Also, this pullover is well made; some of mine are several years old, and they still look good.
Great fleece. Lightweight and warm! Managed to get a tear at the seam the third time wearing it and exchanged it. You guys were great as usual...had the new one to me ASAP. Great job guys!
Great to wear under fleece - as it is, a little light for warmth when camping, cross country skiing and hiking. Great fit and very flattering for figure.
Got it for my daughter who is a camp counselor. North Face was the pull over of choice among the counselors. She loves it. It came in so quickly. Just in time for her birthday.
This fleece is great, The North Face is really good quality. The fleece is very light weight but extremely warm. I would suggest ordering a size bigger than you think, they are pretty snug to get on, but once on they fit great.
I bought this as a gift for my wife. She is petite, but the size small fit a little bit more loose and gave room for layering or a sweater. It is really light weight, but a good midpoint between light and warm. And it is really soft.
Got the 1/4 zip for my wife for her bday as she was asking for a "fleece" - this was NOT a fleece...more like a thick shirt really. I was surprised at how "thin" the material was; maybe it does a great job with warmth, but it just didnt seem to be what I was after.
Great fleece, lightweight but keeps you warm with soft material. Did I mention that this site rocks? Awesome service this is the best place to get The North Face gear!
i love this good-looking 1/4 zip pullover, but i was under the impression it would be thicker. i probably didn't read the description well enough. this pullover looks best when worn with a thin base layer or by itself. not a source of significant warmth, but nice and easy to wear.
This fleece is a great lightweight zip pullover that can be worn anywhere. It feels so soft and is perfect for the mild winters in Oklahoma. I love it, and I wear it al the time!
I love TKA 100. I have it in 1/4 zip which runs tight and hoodie. I love the wide range of colors the North Face offers on this top, the quality and more...
