Great layering jackets

Great for the price. This fleece super packable, soft and warm. I am excited because it works great for fall as a layering piece ike a hoodie or sweatshirt and will carry into spring as a jacket. My son loves it.

Hi Gina - as long as you aren't too far north of the rest of us, this should be a good spring/fall jacket. It also make a good layering piece if it gets colder than expected. It is 100 weight fleece, so on the lighter side of fleece weights. If you are looking for something to use more of the time as an outerwear jacket, I would consider something like the North Face Khumbu or Denali jackets - they are both 300 weight and substantially heavier than the Byrd Glacier.

I was very disappointed with this jacket. He even traded with a boy for a store brand sweatshirt cause it was "way warmer" Go figure...

Well, it's not meant to be an outer jacket....anyone who expects this be a stand-alone, warm product is sorely mistaken.
This product is meant to be layered under a shell, or worn as a baselayer......
