Bought this backpack for my little brother before our hiking expedition to Yosemite, great choice. Had lots of pockets and room inside to separate items as well as easy access outside for plently of snacks and water. The top strap and belt straps were very comfy and helped alot to lighten the load. He really loved the backpack and especially liked how it was ipod friendly. He was able to fit a weekend worth of clothes inside and an extra pair of shoes hung on the outside. Now, he wants to ignore his jansport for school and just use this as a school pack as well!

why would you want to take the patch off? just get a different back pack if you don't want the patch. don't you know what the patch is for anyways?

It's sewn on, so easy to remove with a razor blade.
