The North Face went to PrimaLoft in order to make this jacket's ThermoBall insulation to feel just like down even though it's actually synthetic. It's packable, compressible, and lightweight like down, but it dries quickly and protects you from moisture better like synthetic. The Thermoball Triclimate also features underarm zippers for ventilation, an adjustable hood, hook-and-loop cuffs, a drawcord at the waist, and media compatibility so you can listen to your music on the slopes or in the streets.
