Description

Performance plus.

The North Face Women's Thermoball Insulated Vest is much more than a stylish top. It's a serious piece of performance outerwear that happens to look like great for everything from a day of skiing to an evening out.

When you pull on the Thermoball vest, you'll be amazed at how warm it is. You wouldn't expect a jacket this light to lock in warmth so well. The reason is the Bluesign-approved Primaloft Thermoball synthetic insulation, which is just as lightweight and compressible as down. Unlike down, however, synthetic insulation retains its insulating properties when it gets wet. The athletic fit makes it easier to layer a shell over the Thermoball for really cold weather. The North Face finished the Denali with two zippered hand pockets and a three-color pop-trim zipper-pull detail. Elastic at the cuffs comfortably seal out draft, and the low-profile cinch cord at the hem allows you to customize the fit.

  • Bluesign-approved nylon fabric
  • Polartec Thermoball synthetic insulation
  • Athletic fit, hip length
  • Two hand pockets

Great vest, but fit is wrong

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs large

I wanted to love this vest! The diamond quilted fabric is great, it's so lightweight, packs into its pocket. Not too bulky, so it's perfect for fall/ spring/ cool summer nights @ the coast. Unfortunately, I'm too petite for it. As others have stated, it's large in the chest and oddly tight in the hips. Too much space in the armpit area too. I am probably between an XS and S; chose the bigger size for layering, but it's too boxy. I have to find a shorter style like the Patagonia down sweater vest.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

Keeps the torso warm with style.
