Unlike down, however, synthetic insulation retains its insulating properties when it gets wet. The athletic fit makes it easier to layer a shell over the Thermoball for really cold weather. The North Face finished the Denali with two zippered hand pockets and a three-color pop-trim zipper-pull detail. Elastic at the cuffs comfortably seal out draft, and the low-profile cinch cord at the hem allows you to customize the fit.
