Warm when wet.

The North Face Men's ThermoBall Insulated Pullover makes an excellent insulating layer that won't leave you running for cover at the first sign of moisture. Primaloft powered Thermoball synthetic fill mimics down by trapping warm pockets of air. It has the same compressibility and insulating properties of down, but it won't lose its loft if it happens to get wet. Not that getting the jacket soaked is ideal, but when things don't go as planned, as is sometimes the case in the mountains, you'll be ready when you're armed with this versatile and technical pullover.

Great Quality not accurate sizing

  • Fit: Runs large
  • Size Bought: Medium

The jacket itself is awesome! I wore it once to see if I didn't mind the sleeves. They run pretty big for a medium size. Material is very light weight but keeps you warm. I wouldn't mind the bigger sleeves if I wore a pullover hoodie underneath. But this coat is warm enough.

sizing

I bought varies of clothes for my husband and my son, all coming good and on time just on jacket which too big as i ordered M size.
My husband wearing M size in mostly T-shirt, jacket or sweater, but I think it might be the design that make it come out too big about 1 size.
Texture and stitching is good, i returned but will order those the same(exchange) or buy a similar one.
Nice that they dont have a limit of time to return, love this.

    Very Comfortable

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large

Kept me very warm in the cold early mornings in the Sawtooths. It wasn't cumbersome or bulky. Although, I do wish it was a little more slim in the length of the body and the arms. Overall, it's perfect for the sale price that I grabbed it at. I'm glad I have it in my pack!

    Very Comfortable

    Great for all Conditions

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large

The insulation on this jacket has worked great as a base layer skiing down the slopes, as well as a comfortable jacket to wear around camp and chatting with friends. The synthetic insulation holds heat as promised even after a good sweat from a work out, and packs nicely into the crevices of my backpack.

    LOVE IT!!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: L

I wanted a jacket that was light weight but blocked cold. This is perfect for anyone who doesn't like a bulky coat. Love it already looking for a different color.

    Barba Pappa

XXL will fit you if you are huge around the waist, chest and back. Make sure your arms are a bit short tho because the sleeve length is short. (disproportionate)

If you buy this in XXL, I hope you won't be reaching above your head. All the excess material this item possesses will ride up above your waist....and bind at your shoulder joint.

Not worth the money even on sale. I will be offering this item to anyone who wants this kind of fit at BINGO tonight.

      Amazing !

I am totally impressed with how warm it is. Especially considering how thin and light. With just a long sleeve shirt I was good down to 50 degrees & 10-15mph wind. Without the wind I wa good at 45 with just a brisk walk. If I could do anything different I'd get the zip up jacket instead. I missed having hand pockets to keep my hands out of the elements. But honestly I really love this thing. A great down alternative for sure.

        Lightweight, toasty

        • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
        • Fit: True to size
        • Size Bought: Large

Love this thing, lightweight, easily packable into the chest pocket. Have used it so far on many a chilly morning and I've stayed nice and toasty. Looking forward to giving it a more thorough run through as an insulating layer for the upcoming hunting season. Typical NorthFace fit and comfort :)

        Great piece of gear

True to size, fits great. Perfect layer for the gap season. I've read some reviews complaining of it's lack of wind resistance. I wore it on a day averaging 30 mph winds in the Bighorns and it worked great. Its' lack of pockets is a minor drawback. This will be a standard part of my kit.
