The North Face Thatch Hooded Full-Zip Jacket - Women's - 2010 BCS

This is such a sweet layering piece--it has a really high neck so under your ski jacket it gives extra neck-warming properties. It has flattering lines and I wear it all winter long for skiing, hiking, whatever outdoors. I gave it 4 out of 5 because the side zipper means that it needs to be worn zipped up or partially zipped up, or else one side hangs down. This isn't a big deal and how I wear it anyway, but just saying, it is piece made for functioning!

This fleece is pretty cool, the fit is great, love the look of the asymmetrical zipper but I only gave it 4 stars because I find that it is a little hard to get the zipper started because it's so far over. At first, I thought it was way too small because of this, but once I got it zipped, it fit just fine. Also, the wrist cuffs are a bit wide for my liking, and when I put my thumbs through the thumb holes, I find it's kinda hard to use my hands for things. Overall a pretty good looking fleece though!

I love everything about this jacket. Purple is my favorite color, so the zippers rock. Everywhere I go, I get compliments from complete strangers, and all my friends have asked where I got it. When they find out it's a North Face, they are so impressed. The North Face is doing a fantastic job creating fun-to-wear, functional clothes!

This jacket is awesome on it's own, it is warm, even in wind and rain/snow and it works great as a layer because it's long and it's silky smooth so it moves well under anything. My only beef, and it's a big one is the single pocket. I love pockets and there is only one and it's a sucky pocket because it's not deep so unless it is zipped nothing stays in it. Otherwise it may be the perfect jacket!

This jacket is a way comfy mid-layer jacket. the graphic pops and my wife is loving it! At first she was hesitant with the dual zipper and angle but she's loved it. If the zipper is all the way un-done the jacket sits wierd and there is also a spot about 3/4 of the way zipped up where the one flaphangs funny. They've done a brilliant job with the thumb holes, the elastic isn't straight around the cuff so you don't get your palm irritated by a seam like normal when you're thumbholing it. Over-all she gives it a 5-star, in fact she's looking for more of the side zippers b/c "it's something new, different and they totally sold me on the new style!"
