Whether you're headed out for a night on the town or a day on the slopes, The North Face  Women's Tamburello Insulated jacket keeps you warm and keeps you looking good.  The unique, stylish quilting complements any outfit and the thin, lightweight insulation provides a toasty mid-layer when it gets chilly and you need to slide a shell over the Tamburello.

The Tamburello jacket's face fabric is a durable, water-resistant nylon/polyester blend. The side panels are a tough 40D nylon. Insulation duties are taken care of by 120g Heatseeker synthetic that keeps you warm even if it gets wet. The jacket features a soft taffeta lining and zippered handwarmer pockets. The Tamburello has a slim, feminine fit with a tapered waist that not only looks great, but makes it easier to layer.

  • Water-resistant nylon and polyester face fabric
  • 120g Heatseeker insulation
  • Soft taffeta lining
  • Active fit, hip-length

Love it!

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:Runs large
  • Height: 5'4"
    Weight: 122 lbs
    Size Purchased: X-small

I originally ordered this jacket in a size small BC I have a NF rain jacket in a small. It was way too big! I returned it and got an x-small which fits perfectly. I'm 5'4, 122lbs and a 34b. Very comfortable and the stitch design makes it look expensive. The jacket is very warm if the low is in the 30s or 40s but probat need a heavier jacket if it's any colder.

Too big for a size S

I ordered a small size ( considering all my jackets are of the same size) but this one turned out to be pretty big and ill fitting. I returned it.

    120g? Not Quite.

I bought this jacket for my girlfriend for the upcoming Milwaukee winter. Little did I know that North Face's Heatseeker insulation is not the same measure as Arcteryx Coreloft, Primaloft or any other synthetic insulation. The description said 120g Heatseeker, which I expected to be pretty lofty and warm. This was not the case. When I took it out of the packaging it was as thin as, if not thinner than, my Arcteryx LT (60g coreloft). The quality of the product seemed legit but definitely a mid layer type jacket. despite the North Face's deceivingly odd use of insulation weight. I will be returning this jacket and spending the extra $140 for the Arcteryx Atom SV like I should have in the first place.
