The North Face Talkeetna Triclimate Parka - Women's - 2005 BCS

I was looking for a winter coat that I could take skiing occasionally, and this is just what I was looking for. I'm 5'4” and 120-125lb and needed a medium.

First, excellent, fast shipping service! I agree with "Ann in California"...the jacket looks even better than the picture...beautiful colors. I took the jacket to the mountains and it kept the heavy rain off and the warmth in. I've been looking everywhere for jacket like this and you can't beat the price. I really love the fact this is two jackets in one. When I need to run just quick errands, I just put on the quilted liner and it's great. If it's sprinkling on and off, but not too cold out, the jacket alone is all you need. The two together really keeps you warm! Can't wait to try it out in the snow this winter. I will be using this jacket for a long time.

Just got this jacket in the mail, haven't had a chance yet to wear it in cold weather but wanted to add some details that aren't available on the website: 1. the white / ivory color is very much cuter than it appears on the website, it's not an expanse of ivory there is blue piping on the sides. 2. the interior jacket is blue and quilted and is a gorgeous color and very cute, the whole thing seems great!

I purchased this jacket for a recent trip to Finland, and I could not have been happier with the warmth. The only drawback was the connections holding the liner in—they could have been a little more substantial. Otherwise, great coat and excellent value.

This jacket definitely keeps you warm with the wind and the snow. It zips up all the way up to your neck and keeps out all the cold air going down your jacket. I recommend buying it. It is worth the money.
