trail champ

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit: True to size

Recently purchased these shorts for a 30mile backpacking trip thru Big Sur and they were clutch. Lightweight, durable, and the quick dry aspect to them was awesome. I even used these shorts as a swim trunk when I needed to cool off during the hike. Definitely would recommend these to anyone.

Not quite true to size but exchanging

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs small

I've been wearing a 32 waist for years, but these shorts fit awkwardly in the crotch. The waist was about right on - maybe a smidge too tight, but the crotch and thigh area are awkardly fitting too tight. I'll try going up a size to see if the quads fit better - and no, I'm definitely not a hulking weight lifter with mega quads.

Seems to be a great short - nice pockets, mesh to air out and aid circulation, but definitely not the relaxed look that I thought I was buying.

My 17 year old son loves these shorts.

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

We hiked into the Havasu reservation in Arizona and they've seen several New England hikes. Perfect sizing, no belt needed. Lightweight.

Versatile shorts

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

Camping, hiking, biking, climbing and even a bit of swimming. I use mine a ton and they are awesome. Great fit, functional pockets and they looks damn good too. Tough enough to withstand sliding around on stone, light enough to endure a sweaty hot summer day. Only problem I've had was one of the belt loops ripped, but I'm not entirely sure it wasn't my fault.

Do anything shorts

I love these shorts they are perfect for everything that I do fishing, hiking, climbing and general day use. They run almost true to size maybe a 1/4 to 1/2 inch off size. I dont have a problem with that at all as I dont need a belt to hold them up when the pockets are packed out.
