With a fully windproof front and a stretchy wicking back, The North Face Men’s Swift Hybrid Pant is built for endurance athletes who need the best of both protection and breathability. The North Face used its Carbon from Bamboo technology to increase moisture-wicking capabilities and fight odors when you’re in it for the long haul. Grippy ankle gaiters keep out trail debris and the flatlock seams and elastic waist make for a comfy fit.

I'm looking at the hybrid swift pants for regular weekly
I'm looking at the hybrid swift pants for regular weekly cool weather trail running and maybe the occasional light and fast weekend trip to the mountains. Anyone know the cut on these pants? I'm hoping that they have a tighter more athletic cut than the TNF Impulse pant appeared to have, those to me had a warm up work out gym pant feel. Also, I'm interested in the "trail gaiters" feature, how did they incorporate that into the pant? Any insight or experience would be helpful. Cheers.

I'm a pretty serious runner and like these pants a lot. I used them on a early morning run which was pretty cool and they were a perfect weight. Not sure yet how they will work on a really cold day, but will update later once it gets cold out. My only other concern is how well they hold up since they feel really thin.
