I was looking for fleece pants to wear under my ski pants for those cold days and these are great. They are warm, very, comfortable, and exactly the right fit. I have an athletic build and they were not tight, not loose, more of a modern fit.

I use these over my workout shorts when walking to the gym. I'm in eastern Iowa, and I've been very warm and comfy in these down to 10-15 F (and thats only with boxers/light workout shorts underneath).

Awesome pair of pants to wear around the cabin and then throw a shell over and head outside. My pair has held up surprisingly well for the amount of time I have spent in them over the past few years.

I workout at a cold Ice rink and I wear these bad boys there as a warm up pant, and on especially cold days I wear them during a workout or out on a run and they are great. They aren't so warm that 30min in you are wishing you just braved the cold until you could warm up, and they aren't so cold that you get outside and think what was the point of putting these on. They are just right. I personally tend to get cold really easily though. Sizing was awesome I am 5.9 and I tend to wear a 32x31 pant and I got these in small and they are perfect fit. I have no complaints on these pants.

I am looking for a light insulating layer under Gore-tex shell pant for skiing. I run hot so I want someting comfortable but not too warm.

Should I go with the NF Surgent pant or the TKA 100 pant?

Thanks.

I have no experience with the TKA 100 pant, but I have been using the Surgent for a while now and I personally think it would make a great insulating layer under a shell. I do tend to run cold, and havent used the other pant so take this with a grain of salt.

Love it around the house, use outside as an insulating layer. Great all around!

Write your question here...What size would I buy my husband who is about 6' tall and weighs around 180 lb. ?

I suggest getting his measurements and comparing them to the sizing chart below the price. Height and weight can be useful, but measurements are more accurate, in my experience. Best of luck!

These things are amazingly comfortable. Unfortunately they are out of size M so I had to buy them elsewhere.

These have become my go-to pants when it's time to lounge or get outside for active pursuits. They aren't tight or baggy, minimal design, tiny logo placement, and they just fit me perfectly. The material is unlike traditional sweatpants, it's microfleece inside and a nice smooth no pill fabric that looks high end. I'd highly recommend these to anyone looking for some technical sweats, or lounge pants.

One of the North Face best accomplishments when it comes to sport pants, very minimalistic design ,clean cut, small discrete logo,Im 5'8'' 166 lbs and the small size just fit great, inseam ends right where I want it, leg opening it is not tapered rather kind of flare out,it provides an ample range of motion without scuffing your skin,I wash it and dry it pretty often and the fabric keeps its color and it doesn't deteriorate, always looks brand new.Is a everyday garment,no regrets.Im a happy camper.

Great fit,I like the wide leg opening which is hard to find in this kind of athletic garments, the fabric stretches enough without compromising motion or comfort, clean sleek cut, with the very small logo which is enough, simple style ,,,,is an A+++
