With a laptop sleeve and a hydration port, The North Face Sure Shot Backpack carries your computer to work and your water reservoir to the trail. An E-VAP mesh back panel helps stave-off sweaty-back syndrome, and the angled bottom panel moves the weight in this daypack closer to your back to minimize strain. The Sure Shot Backpack's secondary pocket holds work folders, and the top zip pocket keeps your music player safe on your morning commute. The Sure Shot Backpack's front bungee strap keeps a rain jacket handy on hikes.

Bottom Line: The North Face Sure Shot Backpack is ready for work and play days.

Good but not great

great backpack but not enough pocket variability..also the price is very very high for what you get but for those of you looking for a casual pack to carry a laptop this will do a great job. My only complaint is that the third day i had it the bungee strap where the water bottle holder is totally snapped when i tried to put a bottle in their and tighten it...not very well made for the price but a good everyday pack

Camping? Traveling?... Gaming? Doesn't matter.

I've always had trouble finding a back pack that can do it all. I like the outdoors, I play lots of sports, but I'm also a big geek (or, more specifically, a computer engineer). Having a backpack that can fit anything I need to bring with me is no problem until it comes to the laptop I haul with me.

Most laptops can fit in most backpacks, but a large laptop with high end specs capable of gaming will bring down a list of viable backpacks very quickly. I myself found only half a dozen backpacks that could fit my Dell XPS laptop in it, and even fewer that were more than simply 'laptop bags with shoulder straps'.

Fortunately The North Face Sure Shot has enough room to fit my laptop in it (albeit not in the built-in laptop sleeve -my own neoprene sleeve was needed) and can be used for anything else needed. It's large enough to hold textbooks & binders, has pockets designed for electronics, great padding on the back and straps, and a waist and chest strap for really heavy loads. The best part is that it looks the part for all jobs. It doesn't look so hefty that it's ready to be used by a Sherpa to scale everest, nor does it look like it never sees grass and dirt.

The Sure Shot has been skiing with me, traveled across North America, gone to class with me, and more. Hands down the best backpack I've used yet.

I have done some traveling with this thing and it is awesome. I do take my laptop with me and a whole lot of other gear. This pack is a very good buy no matter what you are into.
