Description

Lightweight expedition bag for big mountain adventures.

If, during your next mountain expedition, you pack along The North Face Women’s Superlight 0-Degree Down Sleeping Bag, not only will you notice a difference in how little your pack weighs, you’re also likely to notice how cozy you sleep. This is one down bag that skimps on the extra weight—not the extra BTUs.
  • Womens-specific design matches your bodys curves and helps eliminate cold spots
  • The 650-fill down insulation retains your bodys warmth and provides a higher warmth-to-weight ratio than any synthetic-fill insulation
  • Vaulted footbed wont constrict your feet and helps promote circulation to your lower extremities
  • Ergonomically shaped hood provides extra comfort, improves the bags warmth-retention, and reduces its overall weight
  • Synthetic anti-compression fill is strategically located in areas where your body typically comes in contact with the ground to create more durable insulating layer and reduce heat loss
  • Trapezoidal-shaped baffle system ensures a consistent fill volume to reduce cold spots
  • The grey goose down in this bag is purchased from small, family-owned farms that do not live-pluck or force-feed the geese

Extremely warm

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I bought this sleeping bag for my wife because she can never stay warm. She is originally from Texas, so she is not use to sleeping outside in the lower teens. We were finally able to test this bag in all its glory, and it passed with flying colors. Night time temps reach around 10 degrees, and she was still toasty in the morning. The only complaint she has is with the compression sack. She was able to fit the sleeping bag in her sleeping bag compartment, but it was a very tight fit. I think I'm going to buy a Sea to Summit dry sack to fix this problem. In the picture I provided, you can see that this sleeping bag is larger than The North Face Blue Kazoo. If you have any questions, then feel free to ask.

Sweet!

I did a lot of research before purchasing this bag, and it was everything I was looking for and more. The down is worth the extra money - so light, super soft, compresses well, and way toasty. Even better, Back Country gave me a price match, free shipping, and it was delivered in just a few days. Woo HOO!!!

Super warm

I camped up in the high Uintas last week with this bag and I was so warm I had to unzip the sides to not overheat. I wish the compression sack that came along with it was smaller. The bag compresses really well but the sack at its smallest didn't fit very efficiently into my pack.
