Description

Wool and nylon.

So yeah, that synthetic baselayer stinks even after you’ve washed it. What a drag. Check out The North Face Women’s Stretch Softwool ¼-Zip for a fresh scent even after two days in the backcountry.
  • Merino wool naturally blocks odor and regulates your temperature
  • A bit of nylon maintains a soft, smooth, stretchy texture
  • Front zip dumps excess heat
  • Thumbholes keep sleeves from bunching
  • Drop-tail hem increases back coverage

I smell so much better now

because of this piece. Also, my packing has gotten easier--now I can basically bring two sets of wool long underwear (2 tops, 2 bottoms) and can make it all winter on that, washing them occasionally. Merino wool=so comfortable.

I wash it in the washing machine, on cold, with darks, and then I hang it to dry and mine has lasted great for over a year and going strong.
