The North Face gave the Men’s Storm Rider Jacket a waterproof shell, super efficient insulation, and a loose fit to give you excellent protection and mobility on the mountain. A cargo-style design incorporates tons of pockets to hold your music, your ham sandwich, your shades, and your cellular telephone. A grippy powder skirt and adjustable cuffs keep the chill out, and easy-reach underarm vent zips let you dump heat when you work up a sweat.

Bottom Line: Storm? What storm?

Nope. But the cuffs adjust with velcro and have some elastic to them as well. Depending on your style of glove and personal preference, this cuff makes it easy to have your glove go over or under your sleeve.

Great, warm jacket

My husband has this jacket and loves it. He's worn it on 10 degree days in 25mph wind and stays warm with just a Patagonia Capilene 3 underneath. Pit zips are awesome for dumping heat, fabric is sweet for keeping you pretty dry, hood fits easily over a helmet and the length and powder skirt are fantastic.

It's a BIG jacket. He's 6'1" and has the XL, and you can see that it hits well below his hip.
