The North Face S.T.H. Gloves give you stretchy, water-resistant protection for milder winter conditions on the mountain. These gloves' Apex ClimateBlock softshell material virtually blocks all wetness and wind to keep your hands dry and comfortable on bluebird powder days. When you're on a ski tour, this fabric breathes like crazy so your hands don't overheat, and the S.T.H. Gloves' articulated, stretchy design gives you a comfortable fit.

Bottom Line: When you're out on spring corn or a mid-winter bluebird day, keep your hand dry and comfortable with The North Face S.T.H. Gloves.

Not North Face Quality, IMO

I am very proud of my North Face attire. It is what people see me in on a daily basis. I always recommend them over any other brand because I think they are the best. I also recommend this site because they top all others prices. This is why I am extremely sad to say, I am severely disappointed with these gloves. I spoke with a representative from this website before adding the Apex glove to my Christmas wish list. They told me these would keep my fingers dry and toasty to about 10 degrees. You can imagine my disappointment, come Christmas morning (A white and cold one) to go outside to shovel off my car... only to find my fingers were frozen solid. I do not recommend these gloves for any type of winter activity. My fingers are cold, even when the weather is in the 40's. Do yourself a favor, and upgrade to a higher quality item. They cannot be used for skiing, or snowboarding.. Trust me, you'll get frostbite.

A lot of value for the $

I ordered these for the cold Afghanistan winter and my return to Alaska in January/February. The winters in Afghanistan consists of biting winds. These gloves do a great job of blocking wind, keeping my individual fingers warm, and have a very nice overall design. The texture on the palms and fingers allow me to do everything I need without having to remove my gloves.

What is the inside of the glove like? Is it soft, or is it nylon

Great spring glove. Not a lot a insulation, but that works well for me in a softshell glove where insulation and a lining would defeat the purpose of fit and stretch. Really nice value for a leather palm and great fit.

Needs a liner

These are good gloves but they need a liner. I ordered the TNF glove liner and it is warmer than the STH. Together they make a great glove.

An ok glove

The glove looks sweet and feels really nice but just after a few hours of boarding my hands were wet and freezing. This glove would be great as an outer shell with a liner for non-snow sports.
