Sure, the ST Work loves to go anywhere you do, but rumor has it that you insisted on wearing to bed after you and your wife’s Wednesday-night date. Hey, whatever float’s your boat, but don’t you think you might be taking the idea a bit too far?
- Long-time devotees of The North Face will recognize that the new Steep Tech (ST) items look just as bomber as the ST garments of yesteryear, but the new ST line comes with updated fabrics and improved technology
- The shell’s water-resistant fabric sheds light rain and snow and allows excess internal heat and moisture to escape
- Shoulders reinforced with heavy-duty Cordura fabric so pack-straps won’t wear through
- Critically taped seams prevent water and snow from running down the fabric and sneaking in through the joints
- Underarm zips and unique three-zip front entry system shed excess heat when you’re working hard
- Dual lower center pockets allow easy access to multi tools and snacks

At least, that's when I got mine, and I still wear it snowboarding and for general outdoor things. Mine has an Ultrex membrane, haven't seen anything indicating that anymore (too bad). It warms up pretty well, but I do tend to layer for cold days or if I'm going to be out for awhile (I just picked up a MH Monkey Man for exactly that purpose).
Bottom line: This thing's quality. It's held up and still looks like new. Old-school Bombproof. Colors stayed bright, cordura is in great shape. Couldn't ask for better.

well im 5'10 185 and i got the XXL fits perfect for me.. after returning a XL that was to tight in the arms for me cant even imagine how a large would fit...

have to mention, there's no fleece on the inside other than the collar area. no complaints but i had my doubts at first. now i think it would be too warm if it was lined with fleece

Here in Jersey City, NJ... it gets pretty cold. Winter is brutal here. Working outside for a living, you have to relly on a good jacket. This baby keeps you dry and warm in those harsh days. North Face ST Work Jacket is quality you can trust. Give it a try, you won't regret it!

While this jacket has no hood, check out TNF's Apogee, Agency and Transformer Steep Tech jackets. All three are outfitted with hoods and are currently on sale. Backcountry offers limited sizes due to the end of the winter season.

I am a carpenter, and I wear this jacket every day! It has kept me warm in below zero wind chills and kept me dry in the rain. I would recommend this jacket to all!

it is very light, mostly because it is very thin but still keeps you warm

What is there to say, It is after all a North Face and pretty much nothing will beat it, comfort, Longevity, The Best Warranty available.
Only thing with this Jacket is the offset zipper takes a bit of getting used to.

TNF has always been the best but they just raised the Bar.
This Jacket is Great
Does come with a hood and cleaning cloth for Glasses which was unexpected.
Sad part is here in Central VA we are experiencing Spring so I may have to wait till next Winter to really test it.
I have owned TNF stuff since 1980 and currently still wear my Mountain Lite Goretex which I purchased in 1985.
I could go on and on but as the header states
