Description

Are you tough enough?

Do you dream of mohawks, jump turns, neon one-pieces, and Valdez heli trips? Still have posters of Scot Schmidt and Plake on your walls? If you do, get your '80s extreme on with the Steep Tech Apogee Men's Jacket. Designed with input from Schmidt, the wizard of ahhs himself, the Apogee has the throwback style—the large-buckle belt, the color-blocked design, all the bells and whistles—that would be at home putting first tracks in rowdy AK lines, with a beefy design that's been updated to modern standards. The Apogee relies on its extra-thick nylon fabric and Kevlar-reinforced shoulders to keep water at bay, and has a super-burly feel that can handle abuse from tight trees, rocks, and general gnar. It features tons of pockets with big, burly Vislon zippers, and even has a removable chest snap pack to keep your gear handy. Schmidt must be proud.

  • Nylon shell with Kevlar-reinforced shoulders
  • Water-resistant underarm zips
  • Stowable hood
  • Dual front zips
  • Adjustable belt and hem
  • Multiple pockets
  • Adjustable zippered cuffs
