Softwool Crew Shirt - Long Sleeve - Men's

You can smell your sweaty performance layer shirt every time you walk by the drying rack in your hallway. Sick (and not the cool siiiick! kind). The North Face Men's Softwool Crew Shirt naturally blocks odors and insulates. This means you can wear this merino wool base layer for a few days in the backcountry without chasing your mountaineering buddies away. Monkey thumb cuffs make sleeve-bunching a thing of the past.

Bottom Line: Down with the stink.

I'm a big fan of merino wool, in fact I'm progressively phasing out my synthetic base and mid layers. So yeah, with merino you always get superb breathability, wicking, quick drying and insulation while wet. It's also a lot softer than wool. However this North Face merino crew is unbelievably soft. Seriously, I had to check the label a few times to make sure it was 100% merino wool. I own and use other merino wool shirts, and love them, but they're not as soft as this guy.
