  • Trek-Dry lining dries quickly and wicks moisture to provide all-day comfort
  • Half-inch stacked EVA heel boosts comfort

I bought these boots for a snowy trip to the Italian mountains. They are pretty cute for insulated boots and kind of warm. They're very comfortable and with two pairs of socks (I ordered 1/2 size up) and a pair of toe heaters in, I could stand/stroll outside in the cold for a few hours. But on their own, the boots weren't as warm as I'd hoped. Lookswise, they are much better with pants legs tucked in; with pants legs untucked they just look like big black boots. Bottom line - if you want a bit of warmth and a bit of style, these boots are a good choice.

These boots are definitely cute, especially over leggings. They are very warm, too! My one gripe is that they are very tight in the calves and I can't comfortably tuck any of my jeans (real skinny ones too) into them. I bought them to use at a snow camp I'll be working and they look like they'll hold up well (though I'll definitely need to break them in first!)

These boots are extremely cute and seem very well insulated. I'm excited to put these to the test when we finally get some snow. Only downsides are that they fit very snugly around the legs so they'll feel really tight unless you're wearing tights or very skinny jeans under them. This isn't as much of a problem for me since I wanted something that would look nice with a skirt while still protecting my feet from the snow. The boots are also made of suede on the leg and half of the foot portion, which I'm concerned won't hold up very well in deeper snow. I'll probably end up buying some waterproofing spray for it. Overall I'm very happy with these since it's so hard to find decent winter boots that don't look really bulky and unflattering. The North Face really delivered on these boots! I love how their women's stuff manages to look fashionable without sacrificing warmth!

Edit: according to the North Face website, these boots have already been treated to be waterproof! even better!
