The North Face Siren Down Jacket - Women's - 2009 BCS

Siren Down Jacket - Women's

Stretch, quilted side panels are a rad idea. Not on stuff like cars and dinner plates, but on The North Face Women’s Siren Down Jacket. Stretchy sides and diagonal seams create a comfy fit and eye-pleasing style while the Siren’s 550-fill down adds warmth all winter long. A DWR coating on this puffy helps repel snowflakes.

Bottom Line: Stretch in your down.

Warm, good looking, nice extras

This coat fit perfectly with room over a med-bulk sweater. I am 5' 9" and 145 lbs. It is warm, but sides are not filled with down so you are warm without looking gigantic. The pockets are lined with fabulously soft velour which feels great if the temp drops and you are sans mittens!

Very attractive, warm coat that holds up to freezing temps and blowing wind and still lets you look like a lady!

FAB - just buy it!

LOVE IT! I am 6 feet tall, 140 lbs. This jacket in size Lg. is absolutely perfect. The sleeves are long enough and the length is at the hip. It is fitted, but not tight. The diagonal stitching is beautiful & you don't look "puffy" in a down jacket. I was toasty warm in 10 degree weather.

It doesn't say anything about water and snow.

if you know the nupste it has simliliar function but more streamline - so great coat but no ski features. i would worry about getting snow down my pants and it would be fine in dry cold but not wet cold. i would more likely go with the amore, jitterbug, or helicity for skiing...little longer and more durable. my favorite down coat for skiing - i wear it all the time is the fates - it is quite a bit more expensive but infinitely more durable and weatherproof.

Great jacket!

Originally ordered this in a small but it was a little tight at the bust so I went one size up to a medium and it fits perfectly. I am 5'4" and 120 lbs and a medium was great for me. If you are a little busty up top, I would recommend a medium. Also this jacket is SUPER WARM!!

I am 5.5 and weigh 138 lbs my hips are a 28 and my shoulders

I am 5.5 and weigh 138 lbs my hips are a 28 and my shoulders are wide, not freakishly but I'm not super petite. Small bust. what size would fit best. I love northface but hate when they don't cover your lower back all the way.

If you are worried about the length I would get a medium just to be on the safe side it hits me right below my jeans button

Hello - There is no doubt that this is a warm jacket. It is 550 fill down insulated with a high loft fleece interior, so I think it would be suitable for all but the coldest conditions. In case you are looking for something for extreme cold conditions, I would point you towards The North Face Nuptse Jacket which will be a little warmer than the Siren.
Hope this helps-

This is now my favorite jacket. It fits perfectly and is very flattering to the female shape. I just wish they still had my size in the tan color...I'd order another one!!

Love this jacket!!! Keeps you super warm and looks great, normally North face runs on smaller side but this jacket runs true to size ( I am 5'6" 117 lbs) and I still could put a layer underneath. Highly recommend!!

I also wonder about the size. I'm XS in TNF jackets, I'm 5'3" 124lbs. Do you think I should get an S?

Perfect warmth for casual outdoor activities. The lines look sharp and the tapered fit is very flattering. If you want to look great while staying warm, this coat is the perfect fit for you!

STOP LOOKING....

I bought this jacket about a month ago. I was looking for warmth and style. This jacket is hands down more than I could have asked for....toasty and flattering. Who knew that a down filled jacket could have it all. Not to mention, I had men and women asking where I bought it.

The North Face always makes the best stuff. Now my wife can look super hot wearing North face gear. Backcountry.com has the fastest shipping on the planet. I ordered this jacket on my laptop while in bed for the night and the jacket arrived at my office at nine a.m. the next morning. I still dont know how that is possible. Thanks
