Too many running-shoe companies slap feminine colors on their men’s shoes and call it their women’s version—not The North Face or its Women’s Single-Track Trail Running Shoe. This lightweight shoe is specifically designed for female athletes who are training and racing at the highest level, and it definitely does not disappoint.

  • Harder EVA X-Dome Cradle provides high-impact support and rebound and softer EVA body provides a smooth transition when you trail run
  • Snake Plate forefoot plate allows your foot to flex and bend comfortably on changing trail terrain
  • 5mm Ortholite Northotic footbed provides superior stability, support, and cushioning throughout your run
  • Tenacious Grip sole helps grip slippery, wet rocks and roots when you run through the woods

Bottom Line: You won’t be disappointed.

Great trail runner/hiker

I'm probably more of a hiker than a runner but I have been known to go for the occasional trail run and I love them for both activites, hiking, running even over night trips. They are light wieght with great traction for any terrain.

great shoe

I have been using this all winter and it feels great. I am not a hard-core runner, especially coming back from an Achilles surgery last spring I have not been running as much or as hard but this shoe feels really good on dirt/snow/pavement.

Very soft support...too soft?

By:

I was really looking forward to these shoes, i had heard great things about them and they looked the part.
As soon as i put them on they felt super comfortable, but too soft. It was like wearing a pair of squishy slippers with no support.
The sole compressed alot and were really really flexy
The upper moved around alot when i walked, i felt like my foot was going to roll off the sole bed.
They were shorter than expected, I am a US9 and my toes were hitting the end of the shoe. I have worn 9s in most brands without a problem.

Tried them in a variety of places and trails and just didn't feel the support I have had from shoes like salomon XA pros, Oboz trail shoes.

The good points...
great grip for variety of terrain, nice look, looks like quality construction.

Overall: Would not recommend. Structure of the shoe just didn't hold my foot in place.
A shame, i was hoping these might be my rival for salomons.

Awesome

This shoe is super. I wanted something with a little more stability when i did sprint workouts or cross training and yet have it run well on the road and this shoe is perfect. Plus I get a lot of complements on them. They run true to size, I am usually a 7 and got a 7 and they are fine, unlike my other North Face shoes which ran big.

Get ready to be complimented!

I bought these for my mother and not only are they amazingly comfortable and supportive, they grab everyone's attention! Every time she wears them, someone comments about how neat they look and how comfortable they must be. The single tracks are a great shoe for just about anything: trail running, road running, and casual wear. I actually just bought some in men's for myself and they are just as great. The size is true to form for the most part. I love how these cushion and cradle your feet. Great buy and you won't regret it.

Finally!

This the best fitting TNF trail running shoe! This shoe performs well on the road and the trail. The snake plate technology keeps my feet stable on the trails. The shoe is soft and flexible enough to take on the road. Improved heel and toe box fit from previous TNF trail running shoes. I recommend this shoe to runners with a neutral gate.
The new color and design is sweet too! The shoe ran true to size.

Good shoe. A bit narrrow and clunky, though.
