The North Face Sidetrack 25 Rolling Gear Bag - 4330cu in - 2008 BCS
Available Colors / Styles
The North Face went back to traditional travel luggage style when designing the Sidetrack 25 Rolling Gear Bag, and then they made it ridiculously tough with lots of reinforcements. The two exterior pockets include padding to keep your little goodies from getting beat up by baggage handlers (or whatever they keep back there). The North Face's Sidetrack 25 Rolling Gear Bag includes several internal organization pockets, so you can quickly find stuff when you get to your destination.
Bottom Line: Classic rolling luggage meets new-style function in The North Face Sidetrack 25.

The North Face Sidetrack 25 Rolling Gear Bag has really changed the way I travel on packing my carry on to the absolute limit when I need distribute weight and not get charged to much for extra baggage. I literally put upwards of 50lbs of camera and climbing gear in this roller. The boxy shape really allows you pack more than you think is possible and all the pockets are perfectly planed. After back to back trip to the Himalaya I had some of the same issues mhkpilot mentioned of a few loose screws in the handle and worn edges which is great feedback for improvements! Bottom line is I don't know any other roller that would stand up to the weight and abuse I dished out. There is a bit of video footage of this bag in trasit here: http://vimeo.com/8056513

I dig the design The North Face Sidetrack 25 Rolling Gear Bag so much that I often also travel with the larger version for my checked bag!

This is the best bag I've ever had for travel..strurdy, good wheels and handle and well organized and large..but, I totally agree about the frayed corners..this is a big disappointment and no easy way to fix from what I can see..I actually have two of these bags but will be looking to North Face for warranty repairs on these corners..not normal wear and tear, as evidenced by the similar complaints..this is a design flaw!
Change me.
