Good pants!

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
  • Fit:True to size
  • Height: 5'6"
    Weight: 150 lbs
    Size Purchased: XL

I have another pair of these, but needed black pair for uniform while skiing. I am nowhere near an XL size, probably would wear a M/L depending on the day, but I buy larger due to the fact that I like some extra room to move. The only thing these are missing is a waist cincher...which I sew in myself with some ripstop fabric and Velcro to make the waist adjustable. My lower 1/2 gets cold so the extra room gives me the ability to layer. The wind resistance on the pants is great and most of my co-skiing counterparts have a wet rear by the end of the day, I have never!

Runs large and VERY wide leg

  • Familiarity:I returned this product before using it
  • Fit:Runs large
  • Height: 5'0"
    Weight: 120 lbs
    Size Purchased: Medium

I am 5'0" and 120lb with 30" waist and 38" hips, so I ordered the medium size since that is where my measurements fit. The pants are huge one me, should have gotten a small. Also the leg is extremely wide, I feel like I am wearing jnco jeans. I bought these for hiking and I think I will trip if I try to walk in these as the legs are so huge. The leg opening is 9 inches in diameter and engulfs my small size 5 feet. It is an unflattering look too. I will return these, sad because it was a great price I just really really really hate the cut.

Wonderful Pants

  • Fit:True to size
  • Height: 5'5"
    Weight: 111 lbs
    Size Purchased: XS

I have not tried these pants out on the slopes yet, but I can already say that I love them!! The fit is amazing, they're not too bulky but still warm. Would highly recommend. 10/10

Not true to the size chart

  • Familiarity:I returned this product before using it
  • Fit:Runs large
  • Height: 5'2"
    Weight: 110 lbs
    Size Purchased: SMALL

I ordered a SMALL and the waist actually measured 30". The waist is not adjustable. Have someone measure the actual pant before ordering!!!

Nothing bad to say

  • Gender:Female
  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size
  • Height: 5'7"
    Weight: 138 lbs
    Size Purchased: Medium

I was looking for a pair of green pants and these were exactly what I wanted! The color is awesome (I bought Amazon Green) and has held true to a season in the snow. They fit great - not overly bulky, but not too tight that I can't move (what's with these skinny-snowboarding pants??).
Pants have two zipper side pockets, comfortable lining to keep you warm (although if it's really cold, you'll still want to wear some fleece pants underneath), and a hook to keep them secure on your boots. There's also belt loops to help for the waist.
I wear about a 4/5 in women's pants, and I got a medium in these (regular length) - they fit perfect, not too tight around the waist but doesn't have a lot of extra room.
Looking forward to a great snowboarding season!

Nothing bad to say

Is the Amazon Green the same as the Bastile Green listed above or is that a different color?

Slimming and stylish

  • Fit:True to size
  • Height: 5'5"
    Weight: 115 lbs
    Size Purchased: Small

Cannot say enough about these pants! I have long legs and the Small fit me perfectly. They are extremely comfortable and although they flare a little more than the picture shows, they compliment you in all the right ways. Very warm and stylish. Although the waist is not adjustable and a little tighter than other snow pants, they are overall true to size. I would definitely recommend these pants to anyone wanting to go snowboarding without having to compromise comfort for style.

Unanswered Question

Hi, what is the inseam on the regular vs. The long length in size large?

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:Runs large
  • Height: 5'10"
    Weight: 160 lbs
    Size Purchased: Large

I use these for walking my dog in the the harsh winters of Minneapolis and the occasional ski outing. They work well for warmth but I wish they were cut a little slimmer with less flair. They gray also looks a little purple. All in all I'm happy enough with performance and price though!

Can I get these sent to New Zealand??

The North Face does not allow us to ship their products outside the US!

Great pants - white not the best choice

  • Gender:Female
  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size
  • Height: 6'0"
    Weight: 145 lbs
    Size Purchased: Large

Great pants. Comfortable and warm. White color not ideal though. They got extremely dirty! Run a little large in the waist, but with a belt they are perfect!

Buy These Now

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:Runs large
  • Height: 6'0"
    Weight: 155 lbs
    Size Purchased: Large/Long

Love these! Especially for the price. They are warm and keep the wind and cold out. I've worn them to sled and ski in, and they work beautifully: they are warm, water-resistant, and easy to move around in. I bought a Large/Long because I'm 6'0, and the length is perfect.
I will be buying more pairs in other colors because these pants are fantastic.
Only barrier to 5-star rating--they did run a bit large for the brand, so I have to wear a belt with them. Only a minor detail and is actually ok because there is plenty of room to wear thermal layers underneath.

Seem great but the sizing is way off.

  • Familiarity:I returned this product before using it
  • Fit:Runs small

I have not yet worn these pants but in terms of the quality of the material, they seem like great snow pants; warm and sturdy. However if you are looking to have enough room for hips without having the pants swim around your waist, then these are not the best. The cut is boxy. Also, these pants do not have an adjustable waist.

I initially ordered a size Medium. I was able to zip it, but it was too tight for skiing comfortably, much less wearing a base layer (I am 5'8 and weight around 154). So I ordered a Large size. The pants were a whole three fingers bigger than the Medium size, and thus a big difference from one size to the other. I am returning both pairs.

I am same height and weight...thanks for the insight on fit!

Excellent ski pants

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size

Purchased these for my sister for a week-long trip up to Powder Mountain. She loved their excellent range of motion, the feeling of durability in the fabric, and their warmth (record-breaking lows on the mountain that week were no deterrent to fun on the slopes).

Quality without the bells and whistles.

  • Familiarity:I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit:True to size

You could drop $300 on a pair of ski pants, or you could get these and spend the rest on lift tickets and hot toddies. Simple style and performance quality.

I am 5'6" 130 pounds, should I get a small or a medium?

It really comes down to your waist and inseam measurement with pants. I would measure those and refer to the size chart.

Is the mint blue sally pant the same color as the mint blue girls derby pant??

any chance you will be getting the mint blue in size large back in stock?

Sorry, we do not have any more on order in Mint Blue!

Rambutan Pink is orange, not pink

  • Familiarity:I returned this product before using it
  • Fit:True to size

The pants are great but the color on the website is misleading - the pants I received looked more orange than pink.

My daughter is 5'3 and about 100 lbs. I am debating between the girls size 14/16 and these but the girls reviews say they run super short. Will these fit her??

My daughter is now 5'2" and about 95lbs. She has outgrown her girls size 14/16 from last season - they do indeed run very short , in my opinion.

Hey hey! I am 25 inches around the waist with slighter wider hips at 34 inches slim build and 174cm tall. I am confused whether I should get these in small or medium. I am also wanting to wear a pair of thermal tights underneath if that helps. Pls Assist!!! Thanks heaps, Vee

Get them in small, that's the appropriate size, we'll one inch xtra, if you like a snug fit, you might wanna try xtra small that's if you like it snug, also if you do have long legs then get a 32inseam, unless you know 30inseam will be good. other sizes are avail on north face main site.
