Can anyone comment on how water resistant this pack is?

Great bag!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I got this bag for my books and laptop for my last semester of school, I wanted something roomier that I could use for traveling later. I'm very happy with my choice, the colors are great and don't clash with my outfit. I can fit every book for 5 classes plus my laptop and have room for a workout set or my lunch. It feels very sturdy and is very comfortable to wear. The side entry pocket is very convenient. I'll get a lot of years out of this bag.

Deceptively large

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

This backpack is terrific! It fits way more than it looks like it can. I had a laptop, pair of sneakers, sweats, shorts, shirt, mini tripod, SLR camera w/lens attached, separate lens, wallet and computer cord with plenty of room for more stuff. Not sure of the water resistance claim since it hasn't gotten wet yet. Despite how heavy the bag was to pick up, it didn't feel heavy on my back.
