The dress is 40" long so for most that will be right at the knee.

The dress looks good in the photo, but the neckline is loose and open, and requires constant adjustment to not look sloppy and unbalanced. The neckline is also much lower than shown in photo, or moves into a lower position, and I was ordering the dress as I thought it would keep sun off my chest. Didn't work for me.
