    Big upgrade

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I'm definitely happy I bought these. And glad I bought the XL. I don't have especially big hands but these feel great, despite the fact that I would usually wear a size L glove. Not too bulky. The dual cinching straps are great (one at the wrist, another at the cuff ). I also really like the wrist strap that allows me to pull them off any time without worrying about dropping them). They're reasonably water-resistant, drying very quickly if they do get wet (bathroom hand dryers work wonders!). I wouldn't rate them as super warm, but they are plenty warm for my west coast skiing. All in all, not perfect but a helluva lot bette than the gloves they replaced.

    for snowboarding

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Ive been using these gloves this season for when Im out snowboarding. This being my first real winter, my hands are definetly staying warm even with the many falls Ive had learning the sport. It has two straps to tighten down on the wrist and keep the snow out.

    works well

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This glove works great for wet cold conditions, but if it is really really cold out I would recommend a liner to go with them. This will insure that your fingures stay dry and tostie even when it is very cold out.

    good little glove

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I have yet to test this glove in the cold but it appears to be a good quality glove. The fit is superb and the lining is very soft. The patterns are pretty cool as well.

    Skied in Warm Weather....

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I enjoyed these gloves, but have only used them once, and it was in very warm, spring conditions. Not sure how they perform in very cold weather, but I have worn other North Face gear in extremely cold conditions, and it has always performed well.
