A synthetically insulated jacket to stave off personal climate change.

Anytime you step into Old Man Winter's realm, The North Face Redpoint Insulated Jacket helps you keep your hard-earned body heat to yourself. • Nylon (30D) shell doesn't shred at the sight of other zippers or climbing gear
  • 133g PrimaLoft Eco (100% recycled polyester) insulation keeps heat inside
  • Core baffles help keep the insulation in place over time
  • Tall collar, 28-inch length, and hem cinch cord further seal out the cold
  • Full-length front zipper permits venting when you heat up in the cold
  • Two zippered hand pockets and a chest pocket hold skiing or daily accessories close at hand
  • Jacket zips into compatible shell jackets from The North Face (sold separately)

I just ordered my 3rd Redpoint jacket. The other two are still in excellent condition. At 5'9" and 165 lbs, the medium fitsme close to the body in the chest area and I use that size under a light weight Helly Hansen waist length rain jacket. I use the large to wear alone or under a longer jacket/coat.This is the best and most versatile jacket I own and travels with me from Maine to Kauai. If it's really cold I use the Redpoint vest in medium under the Redpoint jacket in large. Primaloft is the best insulation in my opinion and the jacket design is superb.

for years I was resisting to get this jacket, didn't know all what I was missing, practical, warm enough, superb fit, awesome price, super style, my favorite jacket so far, the best thing; my wife loves how it looks on me.

This jacket is great!! Perfect for cooler weather, and add a hoodie great for cold weather. Wouldn't use it for anything below zero, but for everything from mid teens up it's a go!

This jacket isn't as warm as I was expecting. It's definitely not as warm as my Patagonia Down Sweater. Overall, I'm disappointed.

I'm 6'1, 165 lbs and I am a size M.
I actually bought this when I was 6'1, 175 lbs in a size L, but it was too big.

This thing is always in the pack, year round. I got it as an insulating layer for splitboarding in the backcountry, for when you top out and the winds are howling and you need instant warmth / wind blockage. Works great for that.

However, I realized that it's pretty perfect for year round use here in OR as well, and I always keep it in the pack for backpacking, etc. For the price vs. size vs. weight, I haven't found anything close.

The only thing I would change is adding a hood. What gives NF? Five stars anyway.

Just get it, you won't be sorry!

They do have a hooded version, it's called the Redpoint optimus and it is warmer with 100g of Primaloft One.
