Living in Seattle, we do not usually encounter the bitter cold of the mid west, however on our chilly days this vest has been a dream. Light weight, goes on easily over a hoodie, and keeps one very warm, without the bulk of a down coat. Excellent value and a fantastic addition to a teenage girls wardrobe.

I got this vest for Christmas and I was wondering if the pocket
I got this vest for Christmas and I was wondering if the pocket is supposed to be loose inside of the vest? The right side pocket is sewn in secure, but left pocket has the ability to pull out, or reach up to the shoulder (inside) between the layers. Is that how this is meant to be or is it a defect?

The color is not great...supposed to be ivory but I would call it light beige. Plus the brown lining doesn't help. It's warm and light, so that's good, but I'm not happy with the color.

what is the front length of this vest? (I bought it 2 years ago
what is the front length of this vest? (I bought it 2 years ago and the front length was much shorter then the back, not as flattering. Now I am hoping that they updated the style, got the Animagi vest and it has a very nice and flattering length)

The Redpoint Vest was updated by both fabric and design for 2010. TNF measures jackets by the centerback measurement and the 2010 version is in fact a bit longer. The front is not all that much shorter than back this year and the ladies have responded well to the 2010 fit.

However, I should have gone with a smaller size. I purchased the medium because my bust measurement made me nervous to buy the XS, I got... I love it!!... but I think the XS would have been a better fit. The take away... they run a little large. I would totally recommend it though. It definitely has kept me warm on some chilly early spring backpacking trips.
