The North Face boys' Recon Insulated jacket fully understands its next mission: find more snow. The Recon is prepared to carry its orders thanks to waterproof, seam sealed HyVent 2-layer fabric. When snow is found, it must be tested, and it cannot and will not infiltrate the Recon. Times may get tough out there as temps cool, but 100g Heatseeker insulation ensure the mission runs warmly. Whether the next operation calls for a trip across the globe or just down the street, from a snowshoeing adventure to waiting for the bus, the Recon is prepared to perform.

my son loves this jacket. It is a good size. My recommendation with this jacket is to wear a fleece under it on colder days.
