While it may not go that great with a Cat Woman outfit, The North Face Women's Purr Fect Mitten will definitely keep your paws warm. Hide your claws in this HyVent shell with Heatsheild Optimal Technology insulation and they'll think you're curled up in front of the fireplace—even if you schussing down the steepest slopes.

Bottom Line: So warm they'll make you Purrrrrrrrr.

The Mother of all Mittens

By:
January 21, 2010

These mittens are the best for keeping your frosty fingers warm in the bitter cold. I was looking for a mitten that I could use to shovel snow and take long walks with my dog. These really fit the bill - very warm and the nice long length keeps the snow out. They're almost too warm for skiing and snowshoeing, but great for everything else.

AMAZINGLY WARM (runs small)

By:
March 2, 2007

I used these mittens skiing during blizzard-like conditions. Normally my fingers get very cold and I have to use hand warmers. With these mittens, I did NOT have to use warmers at all and my hands remained nice and warm. These are wonderful gloves. I HIGHLY recommend them!! They do run a bit small. I have small hands and purchased a med. They fit perfectly, with the tips of my fingers lightly touch the end of the mittens. Just keep in mind they run small... WONDERFUL product!!

I am considering this glove and the Montana. What are the pluses and minuses between the two. My hands get painfully cold while skiing. I am tired of always being consumed with keeping my hands warm while skiing.

just what I needed for Whistler trip

By:
June 20, 2009

They are really warm and soft inside. The only problem - I followed advises of other reviewers and ordered size L - too big. M would be perfect, but even the larger size never let me got cold on a super-freezing Whistler trip. We had to stop after each ride do de-froze our feet, but my hands never got cold. They also have a long-ish part that goes into the sleeves, which makes them even more cold-proof. Great buy!

The Wife Loves 'Em

By:
February 4, 2009

I bought these for my wife who always would get cold fingers in gloves almost as soon as we got to the end of the first lift of the day. These mittens completely changed that. Based on her review I would recommend them for any girl who is looking to go from gloves to mittens.

Purfect! Great womens Mitten!

By:
January 16, 2009

My fiancée has been searching for a good pair of mittens for a while now. Her hands always get cold even with hand warmers. This pair matches her north face jacket perfect and seems to be warm; she had a Burton small previously which I thought was to tight for a mitten so got this mitten in a medium which fits perfect. Next week we will put them to the test in MN temp, hopefully they work and we get to take less breaks ill post how they turn out.

Ya, these are pretty warm actually. You shouldn't be getting cold hands. You may however want to look into gloves/mittens that have a battery powered hand warmer in them if you hands seem to always be cold no matter what you wear.

not warm

By:

If you have cold hands dont rely on these for warmth. I bought these for skiing and I have to put handwarmers in them every time. I am on the lookout for a new pair already.

Great mittens

By:
January 9, 2009

I love these mittens. Not only do they look great, but they kept my hands toasty warm at Whistler (very cold this year) and kept them dry in the rain at Crystal while skiing. I read they ran small, so ordered a size up. The mediums are roomy but fine in fit! I have a white jacket with brown trim, and they look very stylish with it, too!

The mittens are VERY warm and work well. I went snowboarding for 3 days and never had a problem with them getting soaked or my hands getting cold. Really good mittens and they are worth the price!

Nice, warm mittens

By:
December 12, 2005

These mittens are quite warm. The extra small is a little tight though, and I have very small hands. Would recommend the small. The color is nice also.
