    Basic high-performance.

The Men's Pumori Wind Fleece Jacket is The North Face's basic high-performance fleece. Not a lot of frills, just basic lightweight warmth. And it just got a lot better; The North Face upped the ante a bit with windproof fabric to add weather protection to an already warm midweight fleece jacket.

The Pumori Wind Fleece's main body fabric is Polartec Wind Pro windproof breathable polyester fleece. This completely windproof fabric breathes well to allow sweat vapor to leave so you don't get a nasty, clammy feel. The north Face designed the Pumori to zip into its compatible shell jackets. The Pumori also has two zippered hand pockets and a hem cinch cord to let you seal out drafts.

    Typical homogenized north face flakery

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: Large

Had a medium, tight as hell...went to a large, which doubles fantastically as an emergency shelter for 2 cuz it's absurdly large; part of keeping you warm and you're like this is having the cinch coughs relatively snug against your arms to trap air...the cuffs just flap. BTW, backcountry should show the side profile of this, as its uniquely hideous with cream colored racing stripes from the armpits down. Bummer, because I did a hairdryer test with this on "cool" and a tight weave of the fleece does repel went pretty well...

    Too big

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: Medium

Fits big and the sleeves are pretty long as others have said. My arms are a bit long so I thought it wouldn't be a was. Sent it back. made that really easy. They're great.

    What's with the sleeves?

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Size Bought: Medium

I loved the fabric of the jacket and the overall fit of it. However, something is very off with the sleeves. I am 6'2" and while the medium fit me very well in the body, the sleeves were a couple inches too long. I've never tried on a medium of anything that had sleeves which were too long for me, often I have to get a large and deal with a baggier fit in order for the sleeves to be long enough. This wouldn't have been much of an issue if the cuffs were sized normally to prevent the sleeves from dipping down over my hands. Unfortunately the cuffs are wide enough to drive a truck through. I'm not sure why the cuffs would be so large on a product which calls itself a wind fleece.

    Highly Recommended

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

I bought this jacket for the Inka Trail back April 2014. Temperatures between 45 and 50 degrees and feel so comfortable even with strong breezes. It's very lightweight to carry in your backpack. Recommended!! This Year I'll tray it in Patagonia Chile!!

    great jacket

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

I bought this jacket for myself I have worn it many times over my fiancé barrowed it from me and she loved it so I am picking one up for her same size and color ...she will love it

A VERY good jacket, but ?.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

Here's what I think of this jacket: I blame The North Face for their constant changing/designing and using of fabrics that are questionable, such as this current jacket which is REALLY "true to size" and long(er) sleeves. I'm not puzzle as to why North Face made the sleeves longer and it is about 2.5" longer???

This is my second one, just a size up from the 2012 version that was made with recycled polyester - horrible. It sheds, pills, attracts and shows every little piece dust/hair/cat fur, you name it...

However, it is STILL a great jacket as it fits well, but with a guy with a small belly, it is not so great as it is a bit TOO fitted around the belly area, so you might want to get a size up. Those center lines, above the pockets, REALLY shows/hit where the fat is, so not so great. Washing and drying should get it a bit smaller IF it is too large.

Who at North Face Designed the Cuffs??

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: True to size

I own quite a few of the North Face fleece jackets including the previous generation Pumori. But after trying this new wind version of the Pumori, I noticed that design of the cuffs had no elastic, and were designed very "large" in terms of their opening width. Now North Face advertised this as a wind fleece, which should have meant that it has reduced areas or directions for wind to reach your body. Well, that isn't the case where the cuffs are concerned because the sleeve opening is like a wide open tunnel just begging the wind to come through them. As a matter of fact the only way I could have worn this jacket was to fold the cuffs back on themselves , which I should add "defeats" the whole purpose of wind resistant, not to mention looks unprofessional. With this design flaw, I returned the jacket to BackCountry. Sorry North Face, your new Pumori wind fleece material and quality appears to be great, but the design and sizing of the cuffs was terrible on this Medium sized jacket. "Two stars" only for quality and material, Not Recommended until they fix this design flaw.

Gee. I just went to my tailor and had him move the snaps on the sleeve ends. Problem solved for $20. (Could have paid more to have elastic sewn in, but didn't want the sleeves permanently scrunched up.) I got this on sale elsewhere so it was a wash in terms of price. Great fleece jacket!

    The Softest

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size

Immediately felt the amazing softness of this right out of the package. Had to put it on right then and there and just hug myself. This kind of fleece is the type that you want rubbed all over your face day and night. I might have to order another in a different color because I can see myself wanting to wear this everywhere, even inside my house. Have worn it around PC main street and really do love the wind blocking. Past few days have been nice enough except for some crazy wind. Perfect opportunity for this fleece and a heavy t shirt. Very warm.

    Perfect GIft

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: True to size

This jacket ended up being the perfect gift, The weight of the jacket was perfect for a younger male that went from inside to outside frequently, North Face comfort for sure. Thoroughly enjoyed.

    Medium weight fleece jacket

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

I absolutely love this jacket. I am wearing it so much that I am thinking of buying a second pair !! This is a great medium weight fleece jacket. I tried the NF Quantum fleece jacket which was a light weight jacket and the denali is on the heavier side of medium weight. Pumori windpro is great for wearing in 45-60 F temperature. I even wear it when it is 70. About the size...I bought a small, which fits great on T-shirts, but it is a little hard to get into when I am wearing on dress shirts.

I'm wondering if this is still on sale for $69.27 and if it's available in mens large or Xl? Also how do I order it if it is?
