Love, love, love the Pumori! The perfect weight for everything! It's the must have jacket. I actually have quite a few (more than a dozen), and this color is by far the best shade of purple ever! Can't believe it's being discontinued!!!

The Khumbu is made out of 300 weight fleece (warmer), while the Pumori is made out of a little bit lighter 200 weight fleece. Hope that helps.

I am writing to rave about the customer service I received when purchasing this item. I choose a size Large after reading the reviews...I am usually a solid Medium. When the Pumori arrived..it was too big, even the sleeves hung below my hands. I contacted customer service to try have a size Medium replacement sent. The service was amazing...I was able to get the replacement shipped promptly and was sent a free label to return the too-large jacket. I am now very happy with the jacket and have a great regard for the Backcountry as well.

This jacket was originally stocked by the North Face in 2010, however to confirm which season Backcountry.com carries you may want to email their customer service just to be safe.

I ordered this in the Moonlight Ivory in a size small. I have another NorthFace in a size small but the Pumori was to big on me. I ended up returning it, and not exchanging it for an XS, b/c I did not care for the color. I was bummed b/c it was such a great deal!

This jacket was a Xmas gift for my daughter. She asked for a purple North Face jacket. This item was as described, great price and arrived earlier then expected. My daughter loves it and has worn it every day nice Xmas.

This is a well fitting jacket, and it is quite warm. I am approx 140 lbs and normally wear a size Med in other clothing but chose Large for this jacket because I knew that North Face runs small. It fits perfectly. I love the Parachute Purple color, which is a bright grape color that anyone can wear (unlike North Face's Gravity Purple which is limiting). The best part is the sale price! You cannot beat this price anywhere!
