Fabulous Jacket

What a great jacket. Light and bomb proof. Minimalist design shaves off weight, but high quality design ensures you have solid protection from the elements. (One word of advice,I ordered the red jacket from BC with black zippers, but it showed up with blue zippers all over. No show stopper for me really-just worth mentioning)

This jacket has a 75 PSI rating which is equivalent to 43,262 mmh2o which is better than any Gore-Tex or eVent fabric. Is this correct or is this rating wrong?

It is entirely possible. The higher tensile strength the membrane has, combined with the strength of the face fabric used can lead to some very high PSI ratings. Different testing methods can also lead to varied results. Either way, it doesn't really matter. Anything over 10K mmH2O is completely waterproof under all conditions. Gore Tex and eVent have overkill hydrostatic heads. 5K is enough to completely keep you dry from even the most torrential rain.
