The North Face Peruvian Cable Beanie - Women's - 2006 BCS

This hat is my favorite for wearing under a helmet when skiing.

My 16 year old daughter loves her hat, but wants to put something inside over the ear area because she says it itches her a bit. We are all wool-sensitive types.

Love the color and the hat itself - it's so cute! I bought the magenta color and love it. It's not very warm though. I live in Colorado, in the mountains, and it definitely needs a fleece lining (might sew one in). I don't find it to be very itchy, but maybe I haven't worn it enough. I like it under my helmet, it fits pretty well. Overall, I love this hat and buy another one!

In anticipation of our holiday ski trip, I purchase this hat. I think it is very cute and stylish and I received compliments when I wore it. However, it was very itchy on my forehead! If I work a band underneath, it was perfect. The hat did keep me warm, too warm some days, but I just did not enjoy the itching!

I like the styling and the look of this hat...but it's not very warm. I live in Upstate NY and the chilly winter winds go right through this hat.

I love this beanie, but I wish they had lined the lower inside portion with a non-itchy fabric. It gets pretty itchy after wearing it for a while. It's a wool blend, and keeps my head warm, but I stopped wearing it because of the itching. I may try to line it myself.

I love this hat! so cute but freakin itchy if you wear it a long time. i bought two of them so i guess you could say i don't mind the itchiness.

I wear this beanie often because it has been so incredibly cold in Wisconsin and because it makes it more fun to go outside!

I am so pleased with my new hat. Being from Minnesota, one needs good winter wear but finding things that don't make you feel like the abominable snow man are nice, too. I want the snow to fly now just so I can wear my hat.
