Hi, iwant to know if is waterproof, and if you can used for the snow. Thanks

It's not waterproof, but it does have a DWR coating. So it'll repel water and snow for a short time, but eventually it'll soak through. Fine for walking around town in the snow, not good enough for sledding or skiing.

Hi Maria,

This jacket with the DWR finish is highly water-resistant but could wet out overtime (but more likely as the jacket gets older). Honestly I think that this jacket be everything your daughter needs to keep warm and dry out on the playground or while out sledding on the weekends.

When the jacket gets a little older maybe give it a good spray with a spray-on Nikwax to restore that DWR finish.

Great Jacket

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is great jacket. This is the 2nd time I purchased it for my daughter, she had one in size 12-18 months and wore it for 2 years. The jacket is very comfortable, light but very warm. I highly recommend this purchase.

A gift for my niece when she turned 4 years old! She loves it! Especially since her two favorite colors are pink and purple, and this way she has both :)

Will this be warm enough for a Wisconsin winter? 10 degree weather?

Hi Shannon,
Unfortunately, these jackets do not have a temperature rating. With some good layers underneath, this jacket would definitely withstand those temps- it will just depend on the child for how much added warmth you would need on top of the jacket. I do also recommend that you look at a down jacket- down insulation will provide the most warmth ounce for ounce!

Make sure that that down jacket has a WATER proof outer shell, preferable seam sealed...especially important for keeping that down dry and warm!
