Fits great and comfortable. Very efficient repelling the water not so heavy in weight. I would recommended.

really are awesome!!

What's the difference between the north face paramount peak/ paramount valley

From the looks of it. The only thing that is different is that the belt is removable on the peak and the shorts have an 10 inch inseam , as compared to the 8 in inseam on the valley, and non removable belt.

Do the cargo and back pockets have velcro?

Yes. Small velcro patch on each side of pocket.

Best convertible pants out there.

  • Familiarity:I've used it several times
  • Fit:True to size

These have been my favorite convertible pants.

Pro's: Really great built in belt in front, a little elastic give in the back waist band. More length options, short inseam on the shorts. Really nice DWR coat and thick quality feel. TNF honors their clothing. I split the crotch on a pair after 4 years and they were replaced. Awesome service.

Con's: A little too relaxed in the lower leg

Not to shabby

  • Fit:Runs large

Bought for a summer trip in the woods. Light weight with lots of pockets. The zipper around the knees to convert to shorts can be better but overall great functioning product. I think the fit is a very relaxed but i guess thats what the original description says.

Not near the quality of their original convertible pants, however!
