Paramount Explorer Pant - Men's

There are a lot of insects that you want to steer clear of as you explore the rainforest. Before any crawlers have a chance to sneak up your shoe and into your pant leg, use the bungee-cord lock at the ankles of The North Face Paramount Explorer Pant to seal off leg entry. The lightweight nylon on these pants uses a DWR coating to block light mist and ultraviolet protection to ward off harmful sun rays. The gusseted crotch and articulated knees increase mobility as you clamber into a rustic boat for the river tour.

Bottom Line: Serious exploration.

If you are going to be hiking in inclement conditions these are a great pant. If you are going to be climbing in them size them a little bigger.

Great Pants

Great quality and features.

Sadly, I had to return them. I'm 6'1", 185 and wear 34/36" bluejeans depending on cut and intended use. These 36R North Face pants were way too tight. I measured the inside waist and got 34" but they were also tight in the seat. Since they were purchased on a special I wasn't able to get an exchange. I thought I had purchased a size up but next time will go two times.

What kind of fit are these pants in the legs? Regular or relaxed?

What kind of fit are these pants in the legs? Regular or relaxed? Worried that they might be to baggy if they are relaxed.

They are somewhere in between, actually on the tight side for my taste.

I think they will not be to baggy for you, a classic trekking pant!

Nice pants...

Nice pants, seems to fit a little tight and the waist doesn't have any give...or maybe I need to get on that blowflex. No bells or whistles, wish it had a front zip pocket and elastic waist with belt like the convertible pant. Nice pant for the spring and fall.

strange fit

These pants dry fast but crawl where they shouldn't, I've never had pants do that before. I normally wear a 30, but these seam a bit tight and constricting. I'm keeping a pair for cragging and hoping they will break in, but I'm definitely not taking them on any more long hikes.
