Pamba Jacket - Women's

Even though the Women's Pamba Jacket looks and feels like suede, The North Face made it with a blend of polyester, cotton, and nylon, so you don't have to run for shelter if it rains. Not only does the Pamba Jacket eliminate water-spot worries, it also includes an internal media pocket to help you forget your other concerns with your favorite tunes. Of course, The North Face constructed this casual jacket with its usual high quality and attention to detail, so you won't have to retire it after a few seasons in the city. *Not available for shipment to Canada.

Bottom Line: The North Face Pamba Jacket provides the suede look you want without all the dry cleaning hassles.

If by cold you mean down to about the mid-40s, cause that's all it'll be good for. It's a cotton/polyester/nylon jacket, no insulation, so it won't keep you warm to any temps below that.

size up!

Love the jacket! Runs one size smaller. I always wear a size medium in THe North Face...with plenty of extra room. The med. Jacket was quite small for a medium! I exchanged for a Large, perfect fit! Has extra long sleeves...I like that!

Does this jacket have a lining and what temperature is it good to? Is it somewhat windproof?

It does have a thicker lining than what I thought. It is very windproof. I have been wearing it from the house to the car to inside buildings in 30 degrees. For extended outside wear I would recommend something heavier. Highly recommend this jacket - just bought a second in another color. Ann

super long sleeves

By:
June 23, 2008

Love this jacket! Lots of great details and super soft yet rugged fabric. I given it some abuse, but it never looks wrinkled. The style suits any age. (even my 14 year old daughter said it looks cool) I'm 5'10" with a full chest, broad shoulders, and long arms. North Face large usually fits me, but I heeded the "size up!" advice and the sleeves are too long! I'll be shortening the sleeves of a jacket for the first time in my life.

Dare I say, this is the best most versatile jacket I have ever owned. I live in the midwest and can't stand taking on and off my jacket, in cold weather (30s) in the car, in buildings, because I am too warm - I don't even realize I still have it on. It has his crazy material that gives you enough ventilation so you don't sweat- (not that I would shovel snow in it) The sleeves are long but to me this adds to the wind/ warmth factor. I just bought it in black this week because I'm afraid I won't find another like it. No I am not getting paid for this review. Ann

not so cute

The jacket is well made, like all other north face jackets, but it's not the cutest thing I've ever tried on. I returned it and have yet to order something else. Runs big too and not very form fitting!
